My Jewish American friends can succinctly explain how anti-Zionism is not anti-Jewish. Afterall their ancestors chose to bring their religion to the USA over emigrating to Israel.

  The Nootsie's were a far right, fiercely nationalist, virulently anti-Communist party.  The fact that they appealed to the public's desire for socialism certainly doesn't make them ideologically left.  I've always thought it was so weird how the right is completely unable to accept that Fascism is far right authoritarianism.  I've never heard anyone on the left try to claim that Communism isn't far left authoritarianism.
