However then you have to wonder how quickly anti-zionism spills into anti-semitism, and I think given what we are seeing today kind of shows it.

Because most Jewish people are highly educated and can navigate nuance better than the average gentile. 

Democratic social policies are much more inline with Jewish morality. Jews are very community focused and civics minded, and have more of a "we're all in this together" worldview which is quite at odds with the "rugged individualistic" narrative of the right wing LARPers.

And while most America Jews support Israel they're also at best divided on Netanyahu.

And finally - being educated people who follow their codes of ethics more closely than non-Jews - they find Trump and the way the right talks about minorities and women appalling.
