It isn't a joke about her personal life, and I'd laugh at one about Trump. How people can read a few days of couch jokes and get offended by something like that is beyond me. It wasn't remotely funny. Just AI repeating Trumptard biggoted talking points in her voice. At least try to be somewhat creative.

Especially, her saying North Korea and significantly, which was actually her voice. Again, if someone made one about Trump I'd laugh and so would many. People only want to laugh at things that go one direction on here. Don't make fun of her personal life, and don't mock her either. Today is today, and yesterday was today yesterday lines. Only mock JD (which I've done) or Trump. Any attempts to crack jokes about her are out of line and make you a POS. That's ridiculous, and people can deal. Again, 4 days of couch jokes have been funny at times and way played out at others when you all know it's false. I don't see anyone saying crap about them.

I need to start watching SNL, need to see how they parody this mad state of things that is the US presidential election
July 27, 20241 yr Kamala's nomination does mean Maya Rudolph will reprise her role as Kamala I imagine. Definitely some upside there.

Sadly, the fakes are only getting better.

I think Pocono Don is between a rock and a hard place. He doesn’t want to vote for Trump but the other candidate is a liberal black woman. My guess: he’ll spend the next few months griping about Trump and then vote for him anyway.

It was openly fake except for the parts where they used live video. That's why it was funny. It wasn't trying to be serious or a fake that people would accept as her. Relax and try to lighten up.

You guys realize that acting this way causes people who might sit out to vote for Trump out of spite, right? Feeds into the stupid grievance politics.

Yeah the AI deep fakes is something we're going to need to navigate. That's why I brought up the SNL parallel. With SNL though you always know it's parody. Some idiots will look at a Kamala or Trump deep fake and think it's real. But we can't pretend it's not coming.

Yes, even knowing that SNL is a parody, some people can’t distinguish between parody and reality. Deep fakes will be a tough road to navigate.

Then he pretends like there's any equivalence in the level of intelligence between Harris and Trump. There's no serious conversation to have with people that say things like that. They stop just short of coming right out and saying they're gonna vote for him again as if they're fooling anyone.

Right. We had a poster here this week saying he wasn’t gonna vote for Trump until he saw what people started saying about the assassination attempt.
