The issue is, if she calls out Maduro for stealing the election, and it turns out he did win legitimately...then you have to deal with him as President.

I personally would have just said "we have serious concerns about the election" or something like that. But again, I wasn't confused by her "will of the people" statement.

What are the odds someone who has stolen elections since 2013 won legitmately? I'm not sure what else she could have said but if you watch that video of people banging on the doors that leaked yesterday how someone could put something out saying the "will of the people has spoken" is beyond me. The JP impersonation was a joke.

It's geopolitics. You can't just come out and say Maduro stole the election without concrete proof. We also have to consider the...checkered past of the US influencing elections in that part of the world. Calling out concerns and irregularities is the correct move for now. 

International diplomacy requires nuance and restraint.

I'm not saying she has to. Just don't be an idiot and put out a tweet saying the will of the people has spoken when all that crap was going on. If we could see videos of it on X the alphabet agencies had to be giving her updates with at least that. That either adds legitimacy to him stealing it and/or the BS election.

I would have been fine had she just left it to Blinken. But again, I see no reason to be offended by it.

She said she supports the will of the people after the administrations she's in already said they believed the will of the people had been circumvented.

First, you need to take a joke for what it is. If you aren't familiar with JP you can look him up. 

Second, I'm not reaching saying the post was horribly idiotic. What the SEC State says doesn't defend her tweeting that. Words matter and timing matters. When an election is being stolen in broad daylight, police are locking people out of voting places you do not say anything close to the will of the people has spoken and needs to be respected. You wait if nothing else.
