In the end though, I'm glad Biden was brave, heroic and courageous enough to get us out of that war zone and keep our troops out of harms way.  He certainly took a political hit from partisan hacks like you who value optics over the lives of our soldiers but it was worth it to finally get us out of forever wars.

I don't think so. I've been following politics for a long time and I see this one as a change election like 2008 was. I don't think it will be close. Unfortunately, Trump will be down 10s of millions of votes by 10pm and will declare victory anyway and encourage violence.

Quite possible.  As of right now that's where we are overall.  However, there is quite a lot of time left and a lot can happen.  I want to see where we are in, say, the 2nd week of September.

I think she will get a big bump coming out of the convention. The fact that most people believe that Trump was shot right before his convention and he got no convention bounce what so ever, is a huge bellwether.

The best explanation that I've seen is from Sam Harris who says "Trump never claims to be better" and "Trump never even aspires to be better" when talking about Trump's morals.

Seems likely though the bump may not be as big given she is already riding a massive wave.

I'm starting to wonder if something doesn't happen before the election.  Trump with some bullsheet made up crap with the Repubs trying to throw the entire thing into uncharted waters before November.  No doubt they will know well in advance that they have no chance to regain the WH.  That realization will come after Trump has unsuccessfully tried throwing tons of spaghetti on the wall as well as throwing the kitchen sink at her.  I can see the October surprise turning into end September chaos.
