Dumb question since I didn't watch the interview but......

Because he delayed the start of it, could that be the reason it was cut short?  As in, he had to make sure he was on the road by a certain time to make his next engagement

Edit:  And just to head the chuckling idiot off at the pass, this is not some sort of deflection for his bad interview.  Rather, a reason for him leaving giving a bad interview worse optics.

Yes. These things are timed out precisely. A Presidential candidate has a tight schedule, he has lots of staff and security detail following him around. It is timed precision.

Trump gave a terrible interview then ran out the door. It started late because his campaign was arguing about the use of fact checking. The optics are off-the-charts awful. I guess he scheduled it to find potential swing votes. But it won't move the needle. His voting bloc could care less about the Black Journalists conference. Was it so bad that he could swing votes towards Kamala?

Yeah, its defelction...from you?  yeah....it is.  Your kinda the champion of toilet paper soft support for Trump, we see you buddy.

And no I don't think that makes sense because they would have said so before the interview, "hey it was an hour but now it will be half an hour", but Trump camp is welcome to make excuses.

I don't agree at all, Trump had this election in the bag because of his sizeable increase in support with young black and brown men. It's why the obvious VP pick was Tim Scott. he came in there with a mission to cast doubt on Kamala's sister credentials and notch young black men support. It imploded and you have to wonder who let him think it was a good idea.

Good

I disagree. I don't think he really had the support from the black community: young black men, or whoever. But maybe the Trump campaign saw some potential there? I truly think they approached the conference as if they had nothing to lose.

That dementia's hitting hard.  You hate to see it.

Wait, you mean the guy that tried to pretend our economy is on the verge of a recession, then framed 3% inflation as "sky high!", and whose wife was going full MAGA after the assassination attempt might have a soft spot for Trump? Shocking if true!

Settle down forever stamps.  We know me saying "I said inflation\interest rates are sky high" cut you deeply because I didn't break it out to say "Inflation is still high and interest rates are sky high".  BTW, they just announced they are not lowering rates again due to inflation but left the door open for a September cut.  Just helping out since you don't pay attention.  Anyway, very relevant.

But you got me, posts like my most recent one about him this show my soft spot for Trump.

Did Trump's handlers do this all on purpose so that they could set the stage to remove him and install their own handpicked candidate against the will of the primary voters? I'm just asking questions!

Weird how Gimli here missed that.  Or (conveniently) forgot.

It's a question worth asking.

Biden getting it done. Something Trump was a failure at.

Which isnt true because she is Bahamian? Jamaican? Something not African.... But she just identifies as whatever is convenient for votes. Im sure thats the uncomfortable fact that Trump has been alluding to without presidential eloquence.

Holy shitballs! Didn't you listen to some Bob Marley and smoke a doob with all that free college you got?

Jamaica was a center of the slave trade, with the Spanish and British transporting enslaved Africans to work on plantations. The British imported hundreds of thousands of enslaved people from modern-day Ghana, Nigeria, and Central Africa to work on sugar cane, banana, and other crops.

It's amazing how unaware of basic historical facts people are, even with a degree. It's not amazing at all that they are invariably Trumpers.

A decentp, honest person might just always choose to identify as both. Not one or the other based on which ever is most convenient in that moment. But... theres not a lot of decent, honest people in here so Im not surprised this concept is lost in here.
