I don't understand how this is an American government issue. It's an Algerian boxer competing against an Italian opponent at the Paris Olympics in France.

The Italian chick missed a punch, and then dropped her glove, opened her body, and raised her chin.  The Algerian chick popped her with a right to the face and that was it.

Then instead of taking it on the chin twice, the Italian chick decided to complain about it.

The last time a wide scale DNA test of athletes was done was in the 1996 Olympics.  They found that female Olympians are 100x more likely to have XY.  So out of every given Olympics, you're looking at about 6 or so female athletes that are walking around XY and don't even know it.

Are you sure that's not just for elevated Test or XXY (Kleinfelter)? I don't think XY in an otherwise developed female is that common.

She's not even trans. She comes from a country that will kill you if you come out as trans. The right totally fabricated something that never existed.

They're women boxers at the top of their sport. That's probably the way you're gonna look at that level. 

Female marathoners basically look like elongated and athletically lean early pubescent boys. But they're still women.

The one issue I have with this is that her previous disqualification apparently was by the IBA which makes FIFA look like boyscouts when it comes to corruption. They said she was a male trying to trick everyone by posing as a female but they haven't released the test results they used to draw that conclusion and apparently it's come out that she has all female organs. So if that's true, that would still make her intersex rather than trans.

It's a tricky situation for those who fall into this category because there are so many different types and it's such a gray area (despite all the trumpbot morons trying to view the entire world in black and white) but if these athletes have clearly higher levels of testosterone than typical female athletes I'm still not sure it's fair to let them compete against other females. There was that South African sprinter a few years ago that fell into this category and caused a similar controversy. It sucks for the athlete, obviously, since they have zero control over how they were born or their own organ development. But if their condition means they have Test levels closer to that of a male than a female, then I still don't think they should be allowed to compete as females.

I read somewhere, not sure if it’s true, but she has internal testicles so she has man parts too.  And was given two different gender tests at the 2023 championship and failed both.  So the IOC statement is missing some key details as well.
