Some of you can't get it that you can be anti Israel without being anti Semitic.  I honestly don't believe anybody that is a progressive hates Jews.  What they hate is how Israel has conducted their war killing civilians, children and starving the Palestinians.  They are against genocide not Jews.  And, frankly, it is disturbing and disgusting how many arent

It's hard for simple-minded people to understand how other people think. They just assume others think the same way they do. In other words, it's just a bunch of actual r acist, anti-semites projecting.

What is Kamala's platform, exactly???

She wasnt even primaried.  And dropped out immediately as a candidate.  But now she's the savior, and the governor who let Minnesota burn and gave benefits to illegal immigrants.

You guys are going to be disappointed.

No we won’t.  She caught the pass and is heading down the sideline not worrying about getting electrocuted or being eaten by a shark.

If there's any indication that the Dems are making all the right moves right now it's the insistence from the right that they're not.

My one worry about Walz is his stance on the transgender issues.  The Trump team and the right in general is going to hit him on that, and it’s already started.  So he needs to be ready respond to the attacks.   There’s a difference between having an accepting stance and letting people be who they want to be; and passing laws that mandate schools put menstruation products in boys bathrooms in schools (if that’s true), and passing laws that give courts the authority to remove a child from their parents if the parents are unwilling to get them gender affirming care (if that’s true), etc…

Is any of that true though?

Damn. Maybe she didn't pick him because he'd overshadow her

Take a woman or person of color its DEI, don't take a Jew its racism. I will pay zero heed to these idiots who can't stop running in circles with their fake rage.

Same venue, two weeks apart.

Yes?  That's an actual concern and not just for Harris.  Optics are bad when the VEEP is more alpha than the nominee.  You won't see Trump picking somebody who could overshadow him.  I mentioned this earlier , Shapiro doesn't come off as a #2, Walz does.

I don’t know about the bathroom one.  But here’s the bill that includes giving courts temporary jurisdiction over a child who was unable to get gender affirming care.

Good lord, WV Mike is seething about the VP pick.

That is a good point and is true. But I also think Biden has a general like ability factor about him and an appeal to independents and moderates that Kamala doesn’t have.

Her favorability ratings are higher. By a lot.

Just him being in her corner the way he is will get PA voters too vote for her he doesn't need to be the VP

The spin from the campaign is going to be Shapiro came in with a list of demands, while Walz simply asked how he could help. Expect to see leaks along those lines.

Well yeah, now.  Now he’s a feeble old man who looks to be on a significant mental decline.  I’m talking about back when he first decided to run in 2020 and he still had energy (and really back in 2016 when he was just coming off of being VP which would be a more apt comparison to Kamala finishing her term as VP).

You said "genocide"

What would you call a complete destruction of all infrastructure and buildings, bombing hospitals, bombing schools, killing civilians and children indiscriminately, bombing desperate people receiving humanitarian aid and starving the entire population?  That's not war against an enemy, that's a destruction of a people.

Even the Israelis don't support how Netayahu has conducted this campaign.

They (and I use "they" because this wasn't Kamala's pick) picked Walz because the Dems have a significant antisemitic wing of the party and they think their only path to victory is making jokes and memes.

The Democrat party is hollow and solely defined by identity politics.  Gross.

I have to agree here. Solely pandering to white Christians telling them they won’t need to vote again in four years while saying they will stop brown people from poisoning the blood of our country is the best method to avoid playing into identity politics.

Shapiro has been a governor for 18 months.  That’s not very long imho

I can clearly see by that picture that its not "packed". Unless you have a new meaning for that term.

He lost the first 2 primaries. People said he was cooked. He gained steam as he went but let’s not pretend he was universally loved.

Sorry it hits too close to home that your party hates Jews.  That sucks

How many Jews are part of republican leadership at the current time?

It is already out there.  All this talk that it was because he was a Jew is ridiculous.  It is because he wasn't a fit despite his obvious political deftness.

Walz was the right decision either way.  Shapiro is still going to campaign heavily in PA for the ticket as we saw today and they will win PA.  Walz has an appeal as a regular, down to earth guy that doesn't come off as a polished politician.  Wasn't sure they could pull it off but I like the dynamic.  Gonna be a interesting 90 days.
