The youths tell me this is a thing now. I'm guessing some Rhode Island ZZ Top crossover thing. Not sure.

You think rizz is tough, try asking an 11 year old girl to explain what a skibbidy toilet is.

As long as it’s not from Ohio!

If Trump supporters could read past the headline they would have seen the tiananmen square detail in the newspaper article that was making the rounds.

But they don't read past any detail that supports their preconceived notions.

Frankly, only a small number of them read at all. Most just absorb outrage from those around them.

That state gives me brain rot

I agree with the above post. She has been the VP for almost 4 years, but now we're to believe when she is president things will get done? Who exactly is currently running the show in the Executive branch?

Vance attacking Walz for stolen valor is...a choice.

Stay with me on this one... but I think it might be POTUS.

Trump couldn’t pay 50K people to attend his rally.

And even if he could, he wouldn’t actually give them the money…

What exactly is his rationale for saying such things?

So the VP has absolutely no pull with POTUS? She has openly praised Biden and his "accomplishments" but this issue that is so important right now was just out of his (and her) reach for the last 4 years?

I guess we'll find out if she can deliver when she wins in November.

I'll let the military folks in here respond to this if they want because they know a lot more than I do about this stuff, but to me it seems like a very...questionable move coming Vance.

An attempt to make an issue where there is none. They're basically saying his service shouldn't matter and shouldn't talk about serving since he never saw active combat.

He was deployed, carried a weapon, but never saw action. So of course the same people (MAGA) who make fun of others who join the military are now saying he didn't serve enough.

It's weird.

My brother in Christ, they capped insulin cost and passed the Inflation Reduction Act. Now she's saying she's going to fight for more if she's elected. I'm struggling to understand where you're getting lost in all this.

Oh stop, trump promised a whole bunch of stuff that he never came through on.  Welcome to politics 101.

Is it more or less shameful to get mommy to write a note that you have bone spurs and can’t join the military?  Asking for all the MagaDolts.

I don't know a single human being associated with MAGA to have one ounce of shame.

Iowa is a national leader in wind energy, generating more electricity from wind than any other state. In 2023, wind power accounted for 64% of Iowa's electricity production, and in 2022, it made up over 62%.

From what I understand, Walz made the decision to retire before his unit got their deployment orders. But let’s assume that he decided to retire after he found out he was going to Iraq. Among numerous state deployments, he had already deployed overseas in support of OEF. He had issues with hearing loss and tinnitus in both ears from two decades in field artillery. He was going to be medically discharged for it but surgery was able to partially resolve his hearing issues.

Vance was in the Marines for four years and did one 6 month tour to Iraq.

His service is commendable and should be applauded, but I have a huge problem when one veteran throws another under the bus for politics. Unless one is commuting a crime, we fight  like brothers, but always have each other’s back.

I think if you had access to Diaper Don's bank statements it'd actually make a lot of sense.
