Well that last part is sort of my point.  How infuriating to him would it be for her to say nothing.  That way he can’t attack anything she says.  You know he won’t answer any policy questions, he never does. Therein lies the issue. Trump doesn't need to run on policy. Kamala does. If she can frame it in a way to inform voters and also make Trump look like a complete loon with no integrity, then she has won the debate. Tall order but doable I think.

Of all the things he said yesterday, this is the scariest one. No politicians should have any influence on the Federal Reserve. It's wrong when Elizabeth Warren tries to bully Powell on Twitter and in hearings. The idea of the POTUS having any say, or God forbid any vote, on monetary policy is completely insane.

A good leader would defer his fiscal policy advisors and the Chairman, for they know far more about the workings of the Fed more than any one individual person. God forbid they start to meddle with economic policy at the whims of politics! But Trump is not a good leader. He is a wannabe dictator: Do as I say because that's how I want it! Do it now!
