There weren't 1 billion listeners. Don't know WTF a "view" is but there aren't even 1 billion accounts on Twitter. Any one who actually thinks 1 billion people were listening to that needs their head examined.

It looks like the 1B is views/discussions of the event.  It doesn’t mean listeners.  It probably means each discussion of the interview and interactions with those discussions as well.  For example, the tweet someone here posted of the Russia thing has 15.3k likes.  My guess is that counts towards the 1B.  It likely counts as replies as well, so if there’s 5 people who post 100 times, that’d count as 500 reactions.  That’s how I think they get to the 1B figure.

Even then, it's not a billion. You'd really have to lie about the definition of words to come anywhere close.

This should result in a turnout boost

Maybe every single view of any post that referenced Trump, Elon or the word interview during that time frame?  Still a silly thing to say but par for the course.

Which would be views of mentions or tags not views of the actual conversation.

Say what you will about her qualifications or political views, but even the most hardcore trumpbot has to admit her social media team is F'ing killing it.

I agree that it’d be a stretch of the definition of view/discussion.  The Trump post of the event has 162M "views”.  I wonder if each view of subsequent discussions count towards the 1B as well.

And even then, I doubt it's actual views of the embedded "video" rather than views of the tweet(s). Needless to say, nobody else in the industry uses the term this way. There's no standard metric for tracking 2nd, 3rd, and 4th order "views" like this precisely because of how ridiculous it is.

Wait wait wait wait....is this your guys counter to the whole crowd size thing?! That's why you're trying to pump up the views on an audio interview on social media?

And last time he said we'd never hear from him again if he lost...

Trump and Musk certifying their dying relevance together is almost sweet. What should have been a winner few days for Trump (Harris out of spotlight prepping, threw some sand in the gears of Walz image, Vance rebounding with some competent interviews) has been another net loser because Trump is incoherent and unfocused. He continues to rack up the photo ops with angry white children and man-childs that cover the slimmest of electoral demographics and hold negative cross over appeal.

The dentures must get pretty loose by the end of the day. None of his kids bothered to reapply his fixodent for him?

This will help with unions...

Trump on X.

"Wow! The Trump TWITTER launch is a DISASTER! His whole campaign will be a disaster. WATCH!” On behalf of Trump, allow me to say this: HAH!

Trump slurred his words and rambled on incoherently. Dementia Donnie is not in command of anything.

And before the commie liars start claiming this never happened, here are the stories from when it was happening

But Trump might misspell a tweet so the "libertarian" bootlickers have no problem with this.

To Trump, they all look the same.
