Yeah he's full of ish. They're right leaning and always have been. Fwiw they said the 2020 election was a dead heat (Biden won by 4.5 points). Even 538 thinks they're polls are worthless. The only poll worse is tralfar.

Well, it could be, but I doubt you had time to watch a 15 minute long video 5 min after I posted it. I could counter that many other polls lean left. I think the truth is that Trump lost ground, but Harris isn't up as much as some polls suggest. His breakdown of why he feels the way he does was interesting.

That is an interesting take vs the other polls, if true, about the them being manipulated by other pollsters. It certainly goes against the mainstream.

Rasmussen

Trafalgar was actually fairly close in 2020, but fell hard on its face in the midterms.

Nov 8, 2016 was very entertaining just after 9pm......

Past saying they are bad I'd be curious to learn why his breakdown was incorrect. Specifically, when he mentions how others are sampling.

Well, watch that and please explain why his breakdown of the numbers and sampling is incorrect. He goes through things so if he is as wrong as you all suggest I'd like to know where so I learn.

Not nearly as entertaining as every day from Nov 3, 2020 until...today actually.  You idiots are still crying about it.

Polling methodology is about philosophy and strategy. Like whether pairing a stout defense with a solid running game gives you the best chance to win, or is pouring all resources to build a high flying passing attack the better approach. Polling accuracy is about comparing results. Did you win the game or not? How many yards did you gain vs allow? etc.

Rasmussen blows hairy donkey balls, bro. They are like the Cowboys of pollsters. They delude their fans into thinking they're contenders only to let them down year after year. There is nothing a youtube video can say to spin this into some "this is our year!" nonsense. Don't be like cowboys fans, compare their predictions to the results of past elections, if you want to get a true idea of how accurate they are.

I'm a veteran so I don't understand why the medals are now a breaking point. It didn't bother you that trump did everything he could to dodge service but went out of his way to  disparage Mccain's service (yes I know he was somewhat of a spoiled legacy cadet). Didn't he also say he didn't like taking pictures/being around disabled vets?

Look up their track record, it's much faster than wasting 15 min of your life on some youtube video THEY put out themselves. You might as well be a cowboys fan right now posting links to hype videos their own PR dept puts out.

1. The F it wasn't, you're in denial bish. There was crying, rioting, burning. I was watching until long after 3:00am.

Still went to work that day. Unlike you pooseys that call off work when you're cramping. 🤣🤣🤣

Were you in a coma the months following the 2020 election?

Former President Donald Trump lauded a wealthy donor on whom he bestowed the Presidential Medal of Freedom as having gotten the "better" award compared to the top military honor, the Medal of Honor, because those recipients are often deceased or injured.

Commander in Chief?

This man is not qualified as a dog catcher, and as a felon, he probably couldn't hold the job anyway.

It was more him going through the methodology and numbers of all the others that interested me vs their own. Was curious.

As far as I know, they still don't release detailed crosstabs in any of their polls. So until they do, all this talk about their supposedly superior methodology is hot air.

In general, are all polls as reliable now as they were a decade or two or ago? F no. We can all speculate as to the reason for that but it's undeniable that they are an industry slow to adapt to a rapidly changing electorate. Do I think the polls will be off and generally a few pts to the left of where the final result will be? Hell yes, as I said as soon as Harris became the nominee, the closet Trump vote will be in full effect once again (if not more so than in the past.) And I think this is particularly true of states like WI, which for whatever reason, tend to reflect a much rosier picture for the dem candidates than what ultimately gets tabulated on the night of the election.

But even accounting for all that, do I think Trump is actually ahead right now? lol no. He's not ahead, and we both know why. He's an awful candidate who can't stop scoring own goals and this pattern will continue from now until November when he loses to Harris. I know some people think it's setting up to be a landslide for her, but I just don't see how that's possible. Way too many morons go out and vote, for something like that to happen. I still think it'll be closer than it was four years ago, but with how bad of a campaign he's been runnning, it wouldn't shock me at this point if she beats him by a slightly larger margin than Biden did.

I got to the part where he said "we have no agenda" which is clearly false.

Almost all polls lean right. They over sample republicans and landline users (aka old people). They're also bat ish crazy

Rasmussen Reports used to be a fairly creditable and credible political polling organization, good enough to be included among the pollsters relied on by services such as FiveThirtyEight to give a broad-spectrum gauge of voter sentiment in the run-up to state and federal elections.

It’s true that Rasmussen had a detectable pro-Republican "house effect,” in polling parlance — but one that was consistent enough to compensate for in published polling averages.

But something has happened to Rasmussen in recent years. Not only have its results become more sharply partisan, favoring Republican and conservative politicians, but it also has increasingly promoted right-wing conspiracy theories on topics such as race relations, election results and — perhaps most troubling — COVID vaccines and COVID origins.

Earlier this month, Rasmussen tweeted the results of polls it conducted in June 2023 and last month, claiming to find that one in five Americans believe they know someone who died from a COVID vaccine.

There are many reasons to disregard any such poll asking people what they think about a scientifically validated fact — in this case, that the record shows overwhelmingly that the COVID vaccines widely used in the U.S. are safe and effective.

But Rasmussen has doubled down on its findings. In a series of tweets on June 9, it declared, first: "If the numbers implied by our COVID polling are correct, the vaccines killed more people worldwide than Jews killed in the Holocaust.”

Not weird at all

Ohhhhhh brace yourselves. Triggering is coming.
