That said either route will raise prices on the consumer. I'm OK with foreign companies bearing that burden too. I'm not vested in them. Tariffs built the country before income taxes were created. I have no problem rebalancing that equation.

Anecdotally speaking, when I look at the people I've known who have died early (around 50) they were the ones with drinking problems. 90% of them. An old colleague, a fraternity brother, old high school classmate, etc. I have a nephew who is only about 35 but he won't make 50. Wears the body down over time to drink more than one drink everyday.
