They've played their hand well so far.  Still a long way to go though.

Yeah, I thought forcing their democratically elected candidate out of the race while claiming to be saving democracy was a genius move.

I thought it was still within reach after the debate, but then a Trump win was a foregone conclusion after the assassination attempt. That we're somehow where we're at now is pretty wild. Might be the craziest sequence of events leading to an election in the last 50 years or so.

Trump thought his little stunt would Garner him sympathy, but all it did was leave many people to think he was an even bigger liar. And you could tell they are trying desperately to revisit that attempt, and it's failing miserably.

For sure, the only move they had but a good one none the less.

yeah, they had a staged fainting at his rally yesterday where cheeto went into the crowd to "help".

Trump’s commutation of Braun’s sentence in 2021 drew widespread attention. Clemency is generally reserved for those who can make the case they have reformed or have been imprisoned too long. Braun had served just two and a half years of a decade-long sentence for running a marijuana-smuggling ring. At the time, he was facing separate investigations by US and New York authorities into his lending business, where he was known for ripping off small businesses and threatening them with violence.

Braun was part of a wave of more than 100 pardons and commutations by Trump in his final hours in office. Associates of Braun say he’s bragged about paying millions of dollars to Trump-connected intermediaries to secure clemency, Bloomberg reported. The New York Times reported in 2023 that Braun’s family tried to use a connection to Charles Kushner, the father of Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, to get Trump to consider clemency.

The Super Genius reveals his political strategy. Pretty much guarantees a Harris Victory.

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday said his strategy for the fall is less geared toward turning out supporters to vote and more focused on ensuring Democrats "don’t cheat” in the general election.

"Our primary focus is not to get out the vote, it is to make sure they don’t cheat," Trump said in remarks at a campaign event in Asheboro, North Carolina, a state Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign views as competitive this year.

This is the most under-reported story of the election. Trump is simultaneously both a complete imbecile and horribly insecure. In order to protect his fragile ego, he has to tell his lies about the 2020 election and believes them (he's basically Costanaza -- it's not a lie if you believe it). So, since he is stupid and fragile, he has convinced himself that the 2020 election was stolen and he needs to stop that from happening again. And this is why he installed his daughter-in-law to take all the money away from the RNC's get out the vote effort and instead spend it on "election integrity." It's legitimately the dumbest possible strategic decision, and it could easily cost him the election. But at least he won't have to admit he's a loser...

I think Trump has the Bible Belt most likely.  I don’t know about Georgia.  Dems need to focus on winning MI and WI.  Winning PA is a given.

I've seen some of the NC talk but in the end of the day just win MI, WI, PA as you say.  My vote is VA so probably not going to factor though it was far closer in the past elections then I thought it was going to be including when I thought my vote didn't matter in '16 and went 3rd party.

MI is a lock, fam. Wisky's the one we need to keep an eye on.

Really? I feel like PA is the biggest toss-up.

If Trump loses, I'm expecting chaos and violence at extreme levels. Like trying to burn down vote counting centers. Protests at state capitols that turn violent. Threats to public officials. Basically, 3 months worth on Jan 6th. If Trump loses, he is looking at potential jail time for the rest of his life. He will absolutely pull out all the stops to try and avoid that, and nothing will be off limits.

Vance is coming for Trump now too.
