That's a good way to put it. And every attack or criticism of Harris or Walz falls flat when the comparison is worse or the same. The usual criticisms about Harris and Walz would make sense in a normal election against a typical Republican candidate, and it would be easier to debate policies, qualifications and concern for what they would do in office.

Even more than those two, it was talk radio that laid the foundation.  Trump's like the Kwisatz Haderach of American politics.  Limbaugh and every other talk radio jockey spent decades planting the seed, telling Republicans exactly how to think and exactly the kind of messenger that would save them.  Then Trump just mimicked it and they thought he was the second coming.

To be clear, I’m 100% ok with her tactics and I have no problem with her running on the Biden platform (she was part of it). What I find sad is that Trump has pushed us to the sheety point where she won’t even reference any platform on her campaign site as a tactic.

She absolutely has a platform. Certainly very very close to the one just approved at the convention. Maybe a couple of minor tweaks.

I don't have kids with special needs, and I probably shouldn't throw the term around as much as I do. But sometimes there's no other explanation for how stupid these morons are. Honestly, if Mike came out tomorrow and admitted he had like a learning disability or something, I'd feel genuinely horrible about everything I've said about him. 

But if he's just normal stupid because he was born and raised in that backwoods hell scape of WV, then that's still sad, but I'd feel much less guilty.

Imbecile, we still have COVID and it is not the same issue because the vast majority of people have developed antibodies either from exposure or vaccines and the virus has gone through its natural evolution to become more transmissible and  less virulent--that's what viruses in the coronavirus family do.
