talk about Dems removing her from the ticket

This was never a serious possibility for a variety of reasons.

Who?  Kamala?  They were talking about removing Biden and going with a whole new ticket, but were they talking about removing just her?

There was speculation she would be replaced as VP before that. Probably wouldn't have happened.

Everybody knows you're gonna vote for Trump because you love being told all your problems are someone else's fault. The part of your brain that allows for self-reflection was broken a very long time ago.

What problems?

I'm not voting the top of the ticket, but the GOP is horrible in my state and out for a power grab to be able to override ballot initiatives. I'm voting for all state Dems in protest.

I might do the opposite. No vote for president, but vote for all republicans so they have a chance to block a bunch of the idiotic Dem policies.

I don't think that was coming from any serious sources from what I remember.  But I will agree her "favorability" turnaround is pretty wild. Partially because self-sabotaging infighting is the Democratic Party's MO. Them being able to all come together to pivot to her nearly unanimously is very off brand.

You just got done slobbing all over Trump's debating skills (which is laughable) and we're all expected to believe you're not voting for him. Ok.

its more about the fact that Kamala really cant look good in a debate setting.

Like which ones?

Well that was never a viable possibility.  If someone was suggesting it, they weren't thinking it through.  Fact is, Kamala has a hell of a lot stronger political instincts than anyone gave her credit for and the numbers bear it out.  Add that onto the Dem candidate now being younger, quicker on her feet and the possible first female president and it seems like a no-brainer in hindsight.

Did you watch the Pence debate? In what universe does Trump ever look good in a debate setting?

Trump is entertaining to watch. Harris will try to sound smart and, that just never works out for her without the teleprompter.

In the debate setting where it's him vs. an actual potato.  Other than that, he's looked like the dumbest and weirdest person on the stage.

Makes sense. My state will go red regardless. I still can't stand what they are doing here on a local level. They are horrible.

That's just.....dumb. I don't even know how to respond to that.

did yo not laugh at the last debate? It was like a comedy skit with him and Biden actually debating their gold game in front of a world audience.

The temptation is to go with 9 and turn on Beetlejuice, but on the other side you've got MTG, who's basically human whiskey deek.  I might go 7.

I'm going 9 for the handies. I can tune MGT out

Now she's demanding notes, too.  Tough.  She agreed to the Biden rules.

You guys havent seen this movie enough times yet to figure out the plot have you? Idiots...

Trump is not going to back out of the debate. He is trying to paint the picture of himself being backed in to a corner in an extremely slanted situation with the deck stacked against him. So that when he takes the stage all of the people will see that he was not scared to do so.

When he exposes them for their crooked lies, and exposes Kamala as a bumbling idiot who he will demolish on stage, you guys will have your feelings hurt. Call him a boob misogynist, and will spend the next few months in your CVON safe space circle jerk pretending things he said sarcastically are actually something to take serious and be afraid of.

No. It was embarrassing. For both of them.

The Harris campaign is free to ask for changes to the debate rules, but if Trump doesn't agree, she needs to show up and debate under the rules that were agreed to previously. You can't call Trump out for trying to back out and then threaten to back out if the rules aren't changed.

Again, free to ask and see if Trump's camp agrees. And making the mute thing public is smart because it might bait Trump into agreeing over the objection of his advisors. But if he doesn't, she needs to honor the agreement.

She wants the hot mic so Trump can bury himself.  Not sure if you've noticed but he's anciently old and has advanced dementia.

It would be much wiser for her to let him cut her off. She wont have to say anything and sound stupid. He wont let her. And he will look bad for not being able to control himself. And then the media will put the misogynist twist on it for not letting the woman speak.
