I rarely even look at my guns anymore. If someone broke in, they would probably murder me before I unlocked the safe lol. I couldn't imagine being that afraid all the time.

Fair. I'm getting to that point as well minus my EDC in a biometric. Having kids I'm responsible for puts me into a different mindset vs just being alone, especially living in a place with a slower response time.

I don't leave things out, but don't think it's fair to call people afraid. The world is turning to crap.

if the maga members of meal team six try to start a civil war after cheeto loses the election again, i'll have my 12 gauge shotgun ready. :flex:

Facts.  Republicans are strictly a messaging party that always fails in practice.  All talk, absolutely no results.

I keep hearing this argument and I keep asking what those #s looked like before COVID hit.  I haven't seen that yet.

I just googled it and it looks like Presidential terms are 4 years long and every President has been graded on their entire tenure.  I realize Trump's retarded but he still isn't graded on a curve.

VOTE FOR THE BEST DANCER 2024

I have kids as well, they would also be murdered before I got to the safe. Just being real. If a world or local event happened thst worried me enough I would prepare, I have ammo. But I'm personally not living that way. My son and wife have fired all my weapons and know how to shoot, and my daughter can fire the .22 rifle (she is very small) better than me lol.

We do have a few boar spears upstairs that can be grabbed easily, but if the heavily armed wasteland gangs attack at midnight we are doomed

But bring up inflation and paco's the first one to say it's sky high!

Poor, senile old man. Thankfully, he has a loving wife who will take care of him.

Thank you.  A very helpful and well thought out response.

Looked at some rough numbers from BLS, pre-covid US economy since Trump took office was adding ~181k jobs/month.  It took until Jan/23 for the employment numbers to offset the covid losses, and since then jobs are added at around 219k/month.

So taking covid out of the equation, US adds about 38k more jobs per month on average under a Biden presidency versus under a Trump presidency.

To suggest Trump did anything to make the economy better is just being ignorant. This entire "were you better off 4 years ago" is so stupid as someone already pointed out, COVID changed everything.

The economy was great when Obama left office but people still decided to vote for Trump

The good news is that they bring a PA system to announce their presence and give you a chance to surrender/prepare.

What does the Post COVID-19 pandemic landscape in business look like?

Trump's hard hitting interviews have been with Elon Musk and Fox and Friends where the only questions are "Why are you so awesome?" and they act like "hard hitting" interviews are the measuring stick of a campaign. Trumpbots are truly the biggest morons to ever walk the planet.

Harris answered more serious questions in 30 minutes than Trump has in 9 years.

Except the interview was 17 minutes long.  Deduct the time that Bash and Walz spoke, she talked for about 7 minutes.... After 2 months of nothing..7 minutes.  For pre written answers to questions she was given in advance.  Ya. She did great.  Can any of you, without mentioning Trump,  tell me why you're voting for ,Harris? I don't want to know why you aren't voting for Trump or why you hate him or what he did.  Tell me what she did.  Or what she is going to do, that's earning your vote.

Oh, no doubt he was given an opportunity where he could have stepped up and led.  Instead he acted like a child and took some of the most peculiar positions.  IMO reason #1 why he lost his re election bid.  Act like an adult and actually lead and it would have been a lay up.

Being that said categorizing a pandemic that shut the entire globe down as "troubling times" to dismiss it as a factor into the #s at the end of his term is very tribal of you.  I'm legitimately curious what the net job loss\gain and unemployment rate was early 2020 to gauge how his presidency was going.  Because during those "troubling times" even the best leader you could come up (Obama? Oprah?  Some character you create in EA Sports President 2020) would end up with net loss in jobs and high unemployment.

But it is fun to watch the circle jerk pounce on a reasonable question like that though

You do realize I fully recognize that his policies contributed to issues we are feeling today, like inflation, right?

They're not serious nor intelligent people. And while mocking them probably won't magically make them self-aware, it at least provides some degree of humor for the rest of us with a few brain cells to run together.

Either/or, like I said it's not a concern.
