Crime is worse than it was 5 years ago, but not nearly as bad as it was back then. DA's like Krasner don't help the problem. But it can be fixed. One interesting thing to think about, the crime rate went down over time after Roe. This was pointed out by freakonomics and the data is pretty compelling. If the RR gets its way with a national abortion ban we could see crime return to those levels.

I really can't stand them, and I know many conservatives who agree it's a bridge too far having a total ban. At a minimum, there should be the common three exemptions, but they have become Pharisees. I don't see a national ban ever happening and think many are content to leave it to states to decide outside of those three exemptions, which we may disagree on, but I'm okay with it as long as states don't try to penalize people for jumping borders.

That’s exactly what most on the right said about Roe falling, until it happened. A national ban is the stated goal of the far right and Trump is the empty vessel they’ve chosen to enact it. If he wins it’s a done deal.

And he's just realizing now that they used him. He appears to be honestly shaken that they didn't stop at taking down Roe for "legal reasons". His ego makes him a mark for anything and anybody.

It's ok, he's on "our" side ...

Roe v Wade was only a court ruling. Even RGB stated it was susceptible to challenge and no one took up the call. They were all more concerned about the next election.

Having the states control the issue is a better long term solution. Those officials can't hide in DC and are far more susceptible to their populations. Those states that currently have bans won't, even they will have acknowledge exemptions.

The pendulum never stops swinging.

CNN will make this Kamala's fault.

You may think it’s a state’s right issue but the masters pulling the strings on the far right don’t. They want a national ban and they’ve chosen Trump, who has no actual conviction of his own, to do it. It’s not some secret. They’re very upfront about it. The only one that’s lying is Trump and his political minions, but they all change their positions daily.

A video can’t be anymore fake than this one.

Yeah, because defending your home is just like military close quarters combat. Thanks for your opinion.

The reasons a group like delta force use an automatic rifle in hostage rescue are the same reasons everyone with a clue would use one for home defense over a shotgun. Namely, that you’re far less likely to hit an innocent person and far more likely to hit your target. This is especially true if, unlike an elite military unit that specializes in CQB and has basically an unlimited budget and time to train, you only get out to the range once or twice a month.

Just stop you idiot. We all get that you have an agenda, but you’re just wrong and embarrassing yourself.

I know right!

If there's one thing CNN has proven time and time again it's their disdain for US Democrats and policies, and more to the point their disgraceful loyalty to Trump.

May as well call them the Cheeto News Network!

Saw a video of her 20 minutes later, her ear was perfectly healed. It was beautiful. The best looking ear of probably anywhere in the world.

At least that's not a Harris trait.

😉

Earlier I did propose a convenient case of the Kung flu as a way out for Kamala on the 10th.......

I was naive enough to believe Gorsuch and Kavanaugh in their confirmation hearing when they said Roe was settled law. Didn't think I'd ever see it overturned. I was wrong.

Really?  What’s funny is Republicans having buyer’s remorse about it because they’re realizing the majority of Americans aren’t religious wack jobs.  Trump made his bed and now he has to lie in it.

You and most everyone not named Ruth Bader Ginsberg ignored the vulnerabilities of the original ruling.
