However I claim your hype as lip service. Why do we have the "Wounded Warrior Project"? Why do some of these revered warriors require welfare? Have you seen any politician of your choice fix these? No. Have you demanded it of them? No. I never had a problem with charities. Big fan of them. I believe they show us at our best. You touting them in this particular instance seems contradictory. Conservatives are mocked touting charity anytime liberals otherwise want government funding for programs.

AND if we don’t use government resources to support our vets then what are we even doing? That’s one of the first groups we should support.

It's not the right wing media's fault that the left wing media is so ineffective, undisciplined and disloyal. The right wing media is pure propaganda that sticks to coordinated talking points, stays on message and has a real effect. The liberal media is a loose group of people who consider themselves "serious journalists", but who no one takes seriously and pretty much everyone hates. If they wanted to hammer home how demented Trump is they could easily do it. But they don't.
