Brutal

It goes without saying that we all hope oubre is OK.  And it sounds like he will be in time.

Now as a fan of Philly sports I'll say the selfish thing that we are all thinking.  Why can't we have nice things?

Team is looking better than it ever has in the process and part process era. And now this happens. What are the chances?

@mr_hunt

We have always walked to chickie and petes from the stadium lot after parking.  Eat,  and take the shuttle back to the arena. It's about 1 mile.  Walkable even for my young kids. There's really nothing else close.

Tonight we decided to try something different since it'll be a little chilly outside. We will stop at the plymouth meeting mall on our way down and find something there.  Benihana, PF Changs, Shake Shack... or see what else is there.

You can do the same at KOP where they have Buffalo Wild Wings, Cheesecake Factory, Yard House. etc.

Then we will arrive to the arena closer to game time and be able to go right in.  Less time spent outside where the kids will be cold.

Something tells me Adam Silver caused this to happen. He can't stand the 6ers being successful.

Well, this blows

Glad he is ok but f’n ground hogs day with this team. Can’t catch a break.

6abc is reporting that it happened at Broad and Locust and that it was a hit and run

Far out, poor guy. It sucks a little bit extra for him because he was playing so well and on a vet min. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery and hopefully he comes back and kills it soon

Hope they find who did it and punish him to the fullest extent. Idk how one could take off after something like that.

Larry Krasner will drop the charges and then try to charge the arresting officers with police brutality

I hope it wasn't Jalen Carter again.

I may be wrong but my understanding is that they really don't have food in there anymore.  All alcohol.

Not sure if true but there never was much good in there to begin with.

Have no idea how much time he’ll be out with broken ribs. He’s lucky it wasn’t worse.

I really don't think he will miss significant time if that's his only injury.

Been a while since I’ve been there but they had a bunch of food before. Doubt they got rid of all of it.

looking online it looks like a couple of the places serve bar food. Wings, burgers, brats.

We can deal with it if it’s a 3 week injury. Might lose a couple games to good teams but so be it. Hopefully Springer can generate some offense with his extended playing time.
