I just think the nba would prefer Luka and Kyrie vs. edwards over a Minnesota vs. Okc matchup. I watched the Mavs game the other day..... Kyrie is unbelievable when he wants or needs to be its a shame he's a nut job lol
May 7, 20241 yr Amy Fadool was on the radio today supporting offering Oubre $18m per year and Payne $8m per year 🤣
May 7, 20241 yr We are favorites to land Butler now. If that happens, can it be done with only one first round pick and some seconds?

May 8, 20241 yr Miami should be thrilled if they get 3 first for 35 year old butler who wants an extension. He might just be breaking down

I think they should be happy that theyre already in line to get something better than that.

He’s 35, might be beginning to breakdown and he wants an extension anywhere he goes. If he doesn’t get it it’s likely he opts out of his 2025-26 deal unless he gets hurt or declines more.

The issue is if he gets hurt in the middle of the season like his knee, he’s going to gain that weight back. Not being able to stay in shape cause you are sidelined with a knee is an issue. Frankly i don’t think Embiid has the Lebron type mentality with his diet for him to not gain the weight during that time off.

And it gives them a ton of flexibility to sign other role guys with defined roles to give them solid depth/protect the scoring from an inevitable Joel injury, these next couple years.

Houston already offered their picks back in the winter so if that is still in the table no other trade makes sense.
