Pretty much known at this point. Can score with the best of them but doesn't fit the Sixers. Lakers or Heat make most sense for him, but believe he really wants to play on NY

I think he winds up on the heat. Probably a 3 way deal where Miami unloads picks, butler, herro and maybe Jaquez and jovic is part of the deal too.

the best thing I saw was a comment saying that the clock shows the time ticking down on his NBA career.

Embiid and Maxey will be involved in the decision making this summer.

As Morey heads into the offseason seeking help for his star duo, he will certainly consult them to help move the Sixers forward.

"Yeah all as equal, you definitely want Tyrese and Joel to feel good and comfortable about the players you’re adding,” said Morey. "They’re so good they can make any player work well or not work well. So I’ve always had a history of working with our top players and obviously the coaching staff to make sure everyone feels about those acquisitions.”

While Embiid and Maxey will be included in these decisions, it isn’t likely everybody will be on the same page. Morey understands that and it will come down to how that player can help the Sixers in the future.

"There are some times where, basically either the head coach or the front office or one of your better players— it’s never unanimous,” Morey explained. "There are times when it’s like ‘OK, two of those three feel good about how a player can help.’ Often, you still often do it, and then over time, they either prove that it’s better than you think or worse than you think.”

The point is, it appears the Sixers are on the same page in terms of having their main pieces in the decision-making process. Obviously, it comes down to Morey and what he believes will help the team, but Embiid, Maxey, and coach Nick Nurse will have a say in any moves as well.

"There have been times when I’ve thought someone wouldn’t work as well and they worked better, there have been times when Joel felt like, ‘OK, I’m not sure about this’, but then got very excited about that player,” Morey finished. "So you just got to have a lot of faith. The good thing is there’s a lot of trust between all the key components where you can take bets on players and feel generally good about how everyone’s viewing it.”

The summer promises to be a very interesting time for the Sixers.

Hawks got the first pick. Maybe Murray will be available?

Sounds like not. Trae Young instead.

The Atlanta Hawks won the 2024 NBA Draft Lottery, moving from the tenth overall pick up to the first overall pick. That gives the Hawks and GM Landry Fields a lot of options moving forward.

One of those options is pursuing trades for Trae Young. Atlanta had been involved in trade talks involving Dejounte Murray leading up to the trade deadline but may now turn to trading Young instead.

Young is owed nearly $138 million over the next three seasons. The Hawks could net a hefty return in a trade for Young, while significantly clearing up their cap sheet moving forward. They could then build around the first overall pick, Murray and other young talent on the roster.

Probably insignificant, but interesting nonetheless, and good news for him.

USC guard Bronny James has been medically cleared by the NBA's Fitness to Play Panel. That means James is fully cleared to participate in the 2024 NBA Draft process.

Last summer, James went into cardiac arrest. It was discovered he had a congenital heart defect and he had surgery to repair to it. James then spent several months recovering before making his collegiate debut on December 10.

The 6-foot-4 guard then played 25 games for the Trojans in his freshman season. James averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 19.4 minutes per game.

After being medically cleared, James is expected to stay in the draft. He has until May 29 to withdraw from the draft and to return to play college basketball.

trae isn't a winning type player so that makes sense. somebody like the lakers will trade for him.

There's also an article on that site saying Wemby is intrigued to play with him.  But not sure if Pop would agree. Not a Pop type of player.

Im pretty sure he will. Hes in the draft, but also in the transfer portal. Theres been more talk of him playing college ball next year than pro. In fact, its been reported LeBron is no longer prioritizing playing with his soon. So that pretty much implies LeBron knows his son isnt coming to the NBA.

He is staying in the draft.

oh wow. he did preform well at the combine so maybe teams are high on his development potential.

plan is back on. Draft him. Assign him to delaware. Pay LeBron less to play (and afford more players), but also make him the GM of the blue coats and pay him for that. Patriots style cap circumvention.

Kyle Kuzma could be available.

No but a lot more cap space to build the team than Lebrons contract.

I think if he goes back east it will be the cavs for one last ride.

Maybe we have the better Tyrese?
