They were still up 9 points with like 4:30 left and he came in and ruined the whole thing.

Whole 2nd half only 36 points scored.

Team forgot not to slow down for Embiid. First few games of the year they ran and made him try to keep up.

Tonight, they ran it through him and a 2 man game with him and Maxey that didn't even produce any good shots. Ugly stuff.

A lot of people on the facebook groups complaining about Embiid. As usual, a lot defending him.

The defense is, the team was still up 19 points when he left the game in the 3rd. They were only up 6 when he re-entered in the 4th.

Truthfully though, the lead started slipping away during his 3rd quarter stint with the ugly 2 man game between him and Maxey. By the time he checked out, the whole offense was out of its groove because they played the old stand and watch Embiid offense.

While they do have a point to an extent- the non-embiid issue with the team is rebounding. Ive been harping on that. Every game you see them not grabbing boards and giving teams 2nd and 3rd chance opportunities. You can preserve a lead like that. And it also helps them dig some of the big holes theyve been in.

Jabari Walker was supposed to be an excellent rebounder. Hes not. It was supposed to be one of the only things Bona is good at. Hes not.

I think VJ Edgecombe lead the team in rebounds last night. Good for him but thats pathetic for the team.

And Drummond got 0 minutes. Bad coaching by Nurse. And the bigs are an issue.

Probably losing tonight. 2nd of a back to back against Cleveland. Embiid Out, George Out, Barlow Out, McCain Out supposedly for his knee. Guess theyll be keeping him out of back to backs for the time being.

Guess itll be another 44 minute night for Maxey. Im sure he wont have gas for 4 quarters.
