How hilarious would it be if Embiid pulls a Willis Reed and comes back to beat Boston and the Sixers win the Championship in a year where everybody hates them.

Yeah. Fans have 0 interest in this team right now next thing you know theyre parading down broad street while everyone is focused on hockey and the phillies. That would fit. We would hardly get to enjoy it.

So, the story continues and now I know its made up.

Maxey was interviewed and talked about someone asking- what if embiid shows up to the game? And Maxey said that would be amazing. But Im not going to ask him. If he can be there, he will be there. Embiid did show up to the game, and Maxey said he was excited. Went up and gave him a big hug.

There is no turmoil. The players seem to understand that he does need to be out. Maxey wasnt even sure if he would attend as a fan but had faith that if Embiid could attend, he would.

Speak for yourself. Not even a Cowboys Super Bowl win would ruin me celebrating a Sixers championship. Who gives an f what the rest of the city feels like. You would be overjoyed and not give a rats @$$ about anything else.....by the way, dream is over, wake up.

(If that scenario ever happened, you are wrong though. Everyone and their sister would jump on the bandwagon by round 3. 10 year girls would be canceling their tennis lessons to watch the games).

There would be bandwagon jumpers for sure. But truthfully, theyd know they missed out.

Nope it doesnt. But at least it appears the "turmoil" is not true. And probably not the case that Embiid was cleared and chose not to play.

I mean... following this team is 1 kick in the balls after another. Its bad enough our own owner, and front office are all idiots. But even the league commissioner does stuff to us. Why does it have to be this way? The league openly and outward hates philly.
