The long breaks between games next series will be helpful for Joel.

Is Atlanta dumb enough to do a sign and trade for Tobi for Murray lol? He would be a good fit and could still sign Oubre, Batum and fill out a couple more bench spots.

they-had-us-in-the-first-half-not-gonna-

This was like an "Anti-Doc Rivers" game. They made good adjustments to Miami's zone in the second half. And wow Nic Batum. We get the better end of that Harden trade.

I feel like Tobias is destined for the Pistons to overpay for him.

Has Nurse seen enough to bring Tobi off the bench?

idk if he'll go that far because you don't want batum playing 30+ minutes, imo...but at the very least, he should have tobi on a short leash & continue using batum when it really matters.

A bit of a worrying stat

Sixers are 26th in defensive rebounding and Knicks are best in offensive rebounding

The other worrying thing is that they'd have certainly lost that game if butler wasn't injured.

He is out for a couple of weeks which sucks because it would be interesting to see the Heat with Butler vs the Celtics.

Reed just needed to shut his mouth and not say anything. He maybe correct but you don’t say this out loud

I don’t really have a problem with it. This isn’t football where it’s one game and if you make a few mistakes, you lose. The best team wins in a 7 games series. The team that wins doesn’t win because the other team trash talked too much.

Troubling, but then again, the 76ers best rebounder missed half the season, and now the Knicks best rebounder is out for the season.

Not to mention, what he said was absolutely factual. The Celtics are one of the best teams in the NBA. Knicks just lost their second best player for the season.

They should tell Tobi the only thing he should do besides hide in the corner on offense is box out for rebounds on defense, run transition and play good defense.

Yeah. It’s not like they are saying this to the MJ Bulls. Boston was far and away the best team in the nba and Knick’s over achieved with the #2 seed.

Just cause it’s true doesn’t mean you have to say it. The Knicks likely going to play with a chip on their shoulder anyway cause that’s who they are. But now they have Vegas callong them as an underdog in this series. And you have a backup center throwing more fuel to the fire. This is like when our back up catcher stubbs for the Phillies decided to open his mouth and clearly the dbacks heard it and used it as extra motivation.

we all can agree with what he said was true. That doesn’t mean you have to say it out loud.

Idk i see it going 7. Frankly would feel much better about this series if they had melton and roco. I know either are great but that depth helps and you don’t have to play Lowry 28-30 mins. Frankly we are gonna need cam Payne to play big in some of these games

that said if giannis misses 2-3 games in the bucks series the pacers are gonna win that series. Even if he doesn’t i think pacers have a great shot at pulling it out

Mitchell Robinson and Hartenstein are their best rebounders. They combined for 8 offensive rebounds a game, most for a teammate pairing in the league
