We will have about 13 million in cap space, and then we will have a mid-level exception for around 8 million. So pencil in some names for those 2 slots after the PG signing. But who knows if theyll sign for that amount. Klay was said to be potentially S&T so I was hoping maybe thats a way to get rid of Paul Reed. This year, with the new CBA I believe you can also trade in to your MLE rather than just signing a free agent with it. So maybe thats an option too.

The thing with McCain is, it’s not because he can’t be a good rotation player with time. I’m guessing he’s probably gonna be a fine rotational NBA player because he can shoot. The issue is he’s making $4 million next year and $4 million the following year against the cap. If he’s not gonna be in your playoff rotation, then you’re just sitting on $4 million that can’t help you the next two years. Maybe they think McCain and that guy in their playoff rotation. But if they don’t then just wasted $4 million each year on a team that’s in a win now mode and he wasn’t able to help you.
