October 26, 20241 yr Once again, Maxey should be out of the game at this point. This team isnt serious about winning. Why is he our there risking injury with 4 minutes left?

They had time to prepare for this, but obviously chose not to prepare for it.
October 26, 20241 yr First 2 games, maxey 10-31, and 6-23 shooting. Offense has to be better. Cant be just Maxey forcing shots. There has to be more structure.

October 26, 20241 yr The KJ Martin either experiment or showcase must end now. He is not a starter and he should be deep on this bench. Without Joel and PG, the spacing is terrible. He only makes it worse.

Just watched the Paul George podcast last night with Oubre and they both talked about his culture, and how good he is. Last night in his PC he was asked about how he was always known for shutting down a teams top option when he was with Toronto. He knows his stuff. Hes not a fake like Doc. BUT Glaring issues exist with figuring out lineups. Struggled with it all year last year. Struggling with it this season- like, what is training camp and pre-season for? And personnel decisions. Starting KJ Martin. Seriously? And a washed up Eric Gordon. Yabusele is the best PF, and really only true PF on the roster. He should be starting. Council should not be glued to the bench right now. Maybe these things are not Nurse. Maybe its different assistant coaches tasked with this stuff. But its really wearing thin. And one of the biggest flubs is to look so unprepared for life in games without Embiid, when they KNOW he is going to miss a ton of time. This is really inexcusable, and I do think it surely falls on Nurse.

This is really inexcusable, and I do think it surely falls on Nurse. It’s been two games. Even though last night was brutal, I’m willing to give him a little bit more time. Pacers just got waxed and Haliburton but up a 0 burger so that’s probably a loss. But I want to see a better offensive approach and have the guys cutting and move on and off the ball again. You still don’t think Maxey is less than full speed? I’m kind of concerned about it honestly. I know he is tired but I just don’t see his usually burst.
