So Embiid played the front half, and PG played the 2nd game.Id prefer Embiid not play at all.But PG has been a useful 3 and D even if hes not hitting 20 points a game.

If he gets to 10 more games of playing, I wonder how fast he will start to wear down. If the trade is fair, I would like to get him thrown in the Giannis mega deal that should be happening in the coming weeks.

December 8, 2025Dec 8 Hopefully that was enough exertion that he is going to be out with knee swelling for the next 10-15 games. Nurse f'ed up that game by bringing back Joel in the 4th when he was trash all game and by taking out McCain too soon (right as he was heating up) and then never giving him a chance in the second half. McCain creates floor spacing with his ability to shoot, drive or midrange. Let the guy have some minutes now please. We need Kelly and Watford back. Watford can play point forward but is also way more effective in the "stand at the free throw line for inside out passing from foul line to perimeter". When they put Joel in that role, he is still slow to pass out of double teams and he doesn't process the game fast enough. His old instincts kick in to get the shot off but his broken body can't do it anymore. Watford is a way better passer and has better vision. Drummond is already tired from his 10 games of play and can barely jump for rebounds. I wonder what the lineup will look like most nights (when Joel is out) once we have everyone back.Maxey, VJ, Kelly, Watford, BarlowGrimesMcCainPGWalkerThat 9 man rotation once they build some chemistry could be a pretty good team. Maybe once Drummond gets some rest and is only used sparingly he can come in for rebounding 10 minutes a game. I think if those guys are healthy for the majority of the year, we can make the 4th seed.

How did it feel?It was the only thing that made me "glad" I had to put my cat down the day before, and as a result did not make the 4hr drive (plus overnight stay) to take advantage of the $40 Lower Level tickets that started popping up earlier in the week.

It's almost a guarantee they will blow that entire lead in the 3rd and then eventually lose the game.

December 9, 2025Dec 9 The IST finally has a purpose. It will allow Maxey to have 5 days off. That will be huge for him. McCain should be playing 25 minutes a game from now on.
