Ya know, I've been wondering about Penny too.  How bad can the guy be?  I mean, not even good enough to get some reps in garbage time against SF?

I don't think he's an every down back with his injury history...but getting the guy some carries to try to mix it up in the running game sounds like a good idea to me.

He played maybe two snaps in the Cowboys game?? He looked great actually, better than he did in preseason…looked to be in great shape.

Facts... we need a bigger RB to add some physicality and change of pace. When you have 3 speedy backs of a similar style that doesn't give the D another look. The Eagles run game was so good during the Superbowl winning run because we had a blend of size, speed, and slashers. This offense is dominant when you can run the ball similar to the 49ers attack yet for whatever reason they abandon it.

I agree with that, except the "like the whiners” part. I ain’t in to none of that. F the whiners, that’s where I’m at. I would say "like the 2017 Eagles”…but who’s to say if Siri wants to do that…If he wants to do something for Reich..do THAT. F sf though, straight up!

Should have released him and brought in Saquon. He's wasting away up North. Poor guy.

Yep, it’s Nick

How would that have worked, salary cap wise?

Probably couldn't but it was a dream :)

BJ should be fired. At least Desai has some excuse because of horrible lack of talent on D.

But they will never fire either of them because they are minorities. If BJ was white he would have been long gone.

nice casual racism there.

No one gets fired when the team has the best record in the league, whether they're black, white or puke green coloured.

Keep sticking your head in the sand then. This team is one and out in the playoffs at best with BJ.

BS. That´s absolute BS. Race has nothing to do with it, and I am embarrassed for you that you would even try and insert that into the conversation

When was last time eagles fired a coach in season?

I'm not sure if we are worse because of BJ or because our stars aren't playing at the same high level as last year.  Lost of drops and fumbles last night that have nothing to do with the OC.  Seems like all season long.

Well the NFL itself has already made it clear race is an issue when it comes to hiring and retaining coaches....Thats all i say.

It's usually not a case of one thing or the other but a combination of many things.  The drops and fumbles are clearly an issue that needs to be cleaned up.  The offense as a whole seems to be lacking any creativity and is predictable.  Losing Steichen and his experience with play calling and his involvement with play design is huge.  Sirianni is beginning to mirror Doug ... strong initial coaching staff, and as some of the top dogs get poached, he makes the wrong hires (promoting Johnson is the same as having promoted Groh).

Looking at the stats from the game somethings are pretty clear.

This offense has stopped trying to spread the ball around.

They only have 5 plays:

Hand the ball off to a RB

Throw the ball to AJ

Throw the ball to Devonta

Maybe sometimes throw to Goedert

Designed QB run

This is Siri's offense. So indirectly you want Siri fired. BJ is just a minion. These are not his plans and play designs.

Definitely not during a 10 win season. Very good chance to be a 13-14 win season.

Very good chance of a one and done season. At this point I only want them to win the division so there will be a strong chance Dallas plays on home playoff game.

Dude needs to be fired. He has no business being an OC.

I do think to save a season that’s coming off the rails they need to make a change. BJ isn’t solely to blame but they need an experienced OC to try and bring some consistency.
