Isn't this even worse because it was Drew freaking Lock?

That Kelce false start loomed pretty large in retrospect. Just watching highlights, not that he is even close to the top of my list of issues by any means.

It's like they are waiting every week to throw a penalty on the shove. Doubt they're even giving any warnings

I hope we don’t lose him at the end of all this. He’s one of the only likeable players who isn’t about to retire.

Something is seriously off in the locker room. The C’s of the team parrot Siranni but there’s too much smoke of players not buying in anymore

The play design is bad.  Aikman was pointing out early in the game the SEA pass defense has been torched all year at the LB level, yet the Eagles took that easy throw what, twice all game?  Completions to Goedert and Julio, one each.  SEA was jumping the hitch throw all through the first half to the point I was sure they would INT one and take it back.

The running game was there all game long, and the Eagles had two drives in the last 8 minutes to ice the game, and simply couldn’t get it done.  Handing off to Swift and Gainwell every play would have gotten it done.  Frustrating.

Smith's quote sounds exactly like every other player speaking with the media the past few weeks. Nobody has answers and that's the most worrying thing when it comes to the offense. There's no one thing that our best players can point to as a potential way out. Whatever the problem is, it's pervasive within the offense. Reading between the lines, that's the coaching, QB, or both.

Brian Johnson and Nick Sirianni deserve each other.

Bums.

Probably more frustrated with his QB.

Guy consistently gets open, only to see the ball chucked downfield to a covered Brown.

Multiple offseasons.

This takes two drafts to fix.

2025 will be the sweet spot.

Yeah the issue is you have a lot of holes and a lot of unproven players.

Blankenship is fine at one safety spot. The other who knows. Maybe brown becomes that but i don’t think you can just bank on him making the jump next year to be a high end starter. He didn’t stay healthy for early part this year and he has flashes of good and flashes of really bad.

corner you are likely stuck with slay and bradberry due to the extension and re-signings in the offseason. Can post June 1st cut bradberry but it doesn’t save you money. But still need to hope ringo, jobe, ricks can step in or find an adequate replacement. Who knows what slay is next year at 34 if you keep him

maddox is still the slot who’s unreliable to stay healthy. And a guy who got busted for gambling and who knows what he looks like when he’s eligible to come back

linebackers have nothing. Literally it’s Dean and VanS. Everyone else is a FA and old. They need two additions that group as dean isn’t  reliable and frankly who knows if he’s any good.

cox is likely gone. Williams has regressed. Davis and Carter likely get better but we lack serious quality depth.

pass rush reddick, sweat and smith are back. However reddick likely wants a new deal as his expires at the end of 2024. And we still need more depth

all while you need to find a competent and good Dc

The coaches are terrible including Sirianni. He’s been the benefactor of a talented roster and veteran leaders. The players will see through this now. Hurts isn’t playing to "the standard” - whatever that even means anymore. Defense is old and tired. Offense has lost its identity. Refusing to run the ball. It’s just a total mess.

I said this weeks ago.

Eagles creep into the playoffs 12-5.

They lose one of those Giants games.

First round exit to NFC South winner.

Not sure what they do in the draft.

But they will be lucky to be a playoff team in 24 with the talent on the roster.

Nobody ever has answers when there’s struggles like this. Go back the last 20 years all players from all Eagles teams say the same thing. I don’t ever recall a player or coach giving an insightful answer when teams hit rock bottom. You aren’t going to get a 5 minute monologue about X’s and O’s And specifics in a locker room. This is just athlete talk, it is what it is. I wouldn’t put more stick into any of it than it’s worth.

I'd put a stick in it.

But it'd just come out sheety.

If they don't lose out I'm not sure Jeff and Howie will have the guts to do what needs to be done.

OOOOORRRRR since the coordinator issue is on defense, he was likely referring to all of the people continuously bashing Brian Johnson while Hurts plain as day single handedly kills this team's chances with poor decision making, inability to go through progressions, unwillingness to navigate a pocket, and turnovers. The player issue is on offense.

I think he was poking fun/going after the eagles for the desai move and the defense wound up having the same issues that cost them the game (3rd and 10+, lock was 4-4 with 158.3 Qb rating, couldn’t make a stop when they needed too and gave up 17 in the second half to a backup Qb… so changed the coordinator yet ultimately got burned by the same things that burned them before)

Please let the Ravens win the Super Bowl.

That is all.

Misery enjoys company.

Sirianni is not going anywhere nor should be. Under any circumstance. Let’s not get crazy. First coach in Eagles history to make playoffs 3 straight seasons to start his career. If this season goes south, get better coordinators, get better players. Then if things don’t improve, the seat gets warm.

last two things before bed: Ringo played well tonight. One small thing that went well. Leonard was awful. He honestly might be worse than Morrow. He changes direction like a greyhound bus.

Solution: sign Zach Ertz and play him at linebacker.

I think the offense was a benefactor of talent. They still have elite talent but hurts has dragged them down with his turnovers and inconsistent to just bad play for portions of games. And play calling has been questionable far too often this year as well

the defense has a a bad Dc and personnel that has bigger name value then actually what they are at this stage of their career. Byard, Cox, Graham, Cunningham, bradberry, Leonard, Roby all have "name value”. Aren’t those dudes anymore.

If they lose out Sirianni is gone. That’s not even a question IMO.

If the team loses out, Eagles will be 10-7 and make the playoffs three years running under Nick's tenure. As long as he remains happy to toe the line then he'll stay but likely on a very short leash. He'll need experienced coordinators on both sides of the ball to hope to remain in place beyond next year.

Fing stupid to think Leonard or Byard had anything left in the tank.

Howie deserves all the blame for those dumb moves.

Again no it isn’t. Their defense has a personnel issue and a DC issue. They downgraded across every positional group and have two bad DC.

That's what the DC makes you think

If they lose out that means 6 straight losses leading to an inevitable 7th in the WC round. Sirianni wouldn’t survive that.

I totally forgot about this.

Man this sucks

Eagles deserve this purgatory.

Glad I don't spend money on those bums.
