That Kelce false start loomed pretty large in retrospect. Just watching highlights, not that he is even close to the top of my list of issues by any means.

True. That was actually a legit call too.

If they lose out that means 6 straight losses leading to an inevitable 7th in the WC round. Sirianni wouldn’t survive that.

Don't get me wrong, I would want that to happen if that ends up being the turn of events.

But given his record it would set an uncomfortable precedent if he was fired solely off the back of that and not because he didn't listen and cede to upper management in the offseason.

Sirianni is fool's gold.

Just like Hurts.

Stuck with two fraudulent nuggets.

Way past time. But seriously,  he never controlled it in bounds.

And I'm not even complaining that they called it a TD.

I'm just saying,  it wasn't a catch.

Legit question—I might be seeing something that isn't there. Why does this team succeed with long, balanced drives and then abandon it?

I'm not as knowledgeable about the game as some of you are, but am I missing something?

Our opening drive was great; we chewed up the clock, called a nice balance of run and pass, and then scored. Even on the drive where Kelce was called for a false start, we had a pretty balanced approach and controlled the clock.

So, what's the deal? The offense seems to play well in those situations. I mean, sure, there are some negative plays, but for the most part, we look good when we settle down, right?

If we hadn't panicked on 2nd and 5 and gone deep to Quez, I feel like this game might've been different.

So, is the coaching holding back the offense? Does Hurts have this many turnovers if put in better situations? Or am I seeing something that isn’t there? Are those drives flukes? Because to me, our bread and butter is keeping things balanced (i.e. our first and third drives).

Someone help me out here please, preferably without insulting me. 😂

The scripted plays worked for the first drive and the first drive after halftime. Then nothing else did.

You f’ing idiot

They are the 2022 Vikings. A bad defense. With an offense that has the fire power to put up points but super inconsistent and has turnover problems (mainly hurts) and dumbfounding play calling. They very well might win the next 3 and get the 2 seed. But they might have to face the rams or Seahawks. Which i don’t think either is a given they just win cause they are at home. And that’s if they actually win the next 3. There’s a chance they go to tampa and it may not be the same as earlier this year

Lose in the wildcard and put these frauds out of their miseries.

I'm ready to scout college players at this point.

Nothing inspires confidence about this team as currently coached or constructed.

Right. But what about the 12-play drive in the 3rd quarter? Is that another example of scripted plays working?

I guess I’m confused as to how many plays are actually scripted and how many are called on the fly. After Seattle got it to 17-13, I feel like the offense kind of panicked, hence the shot to Quez, when they should’ve been more methodical and committed to controlling the clock.

Someone said it earlier, 2025 is the new sweet spot.

Multiple offseasons.

This takes two drafts to fix.

2025 will be the sweet spot.

Time to accept this team for what it is. An average at best team. The defense blows and the offense is stale and clueless.

Nah, they just wanted to be cute and try to get a big boost to the ego..instead of being methodical and "boring” and actually give themselves a big enough cushion..which would’ve allowed them to show off and diq around later on in the game.

They’ve done it all year though. The execution is terrible and then they try the big play nonsense. That isn’t the identify of this team, or at least it wasn’t when they were good.

That’s kinda the point and the problem. One of them.

Well they’ve broken themselves and there really isn’t much way back. This is a one and done team in the play offs let’s all be honest. They aren’t winning more than 2 more games this year.

That’s how you as a fan thinks. There are several professional athletes/winners on the team that DONT and can’t afford to think like most fickle fans at all. These are people who are trained not to blame the refs for things that are clearly the refs fault. They are competitors, but it’s still a business.

Dude this is an average at best team. A team who is probably at the level of the NYG who they face twice in the next 3 weeks. This defense sucks and the offense is broken.
