Dude this is an average at best team. A team who is probably at the level of the NYG who they face twice in the next 3 weeks. This defense sucks and the offense is broken.

What is the average record in the NFC? Is their record above the average or average. They’ve earned their wins, I do want to hear about luck, bs. This game is about matchups, strategy and talent. We can beat the Bills in the rain…the Cowboys can get blown out by the Bills. The Cowboys can squeek by the Seahawks…we let the Seahawks squeek by us. I understand concern…but the ridiculous pessimism of some of you people is ridiculous.

To be honest at that point it was all too late. The mistakes were made mostly on offense on the previous 2 drives and then by the defense to finish it off. That’s what bad teams do though they find ways to lose.

Dude come on! This team has shown signs of issues last year and through other teams failings they got away with it. Now they aren’t and that’s showing. This team is an average team.

Don’t disagree. Even if he throws it to gainwell and gainwell gets 10-12 likelt have 2-4 seconds left. Either Hail Mary to the end zone or kicking a 62ish field goal in the rain. The issue is still he threw it to Aj in double coverage and it had no chance. The eagles continuously make poor decisions and turn the ball over at a high rate.

Oh for sure he made bad decisions and once again this team managed to find a way to lose with talent on offense. But that’s where this team is at.

We have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL, but sure it’s not the coordinators.

Could it also be, that we have one of the most overrated rosters in the NFL? 🤔

I’d argue the defense has more past their prime guys being asked to play significant snaps (Roby, Cunningham, Leonard, Cox, graham, bradberry and even byard — byard wasn’t good this year with the titans either). And there’s a couple guys who have name value but are declining versions of their former selves

So yeah I’d say it is overrated. They have names but a lot of those guys are past it. And despite the offensive talent they keep finding ways to stall and fail.

Yeah I saw that live as well. He broke out a little late but literally had no defender around him. Take the game to OT.

Hurts missed quite a fe throws in this one. He wasn’t seeing the field well. There was a wide open smith on a crossed earlier in the game as well and he threw into coverage.

I wouldn’t just include the obvious players like Byard, Bradberry etc.. on defense. Our d-line is also overrated IMO. There really isn’t any "special” player there. Jalen Carter might be one in the making and Reddick is pretty good, but the rest is nothing special. Hell, I would argue that Fletch Cox has been one of the better players and he is basically a granddad. Where is the talent on d?

Even on the offensive side of the ball they somewhat live on their laurels. Brown and Smith are top notch. Goedert is a good TE, but not in the elite category. The o-line, which played well tonight, is also not this juggernaut that some make it out to be. Running the ball effectively has also been an issue. Don’t get me wrong, they are still a good group, but I don’t see them as the stellar line they are made out to be. And then we have our Qb, who has done some really good things the past two years, but is just too inconsistent and turnover prone to be in the elite category IMO. I ask myself how Hurts would look on a bad team and I just can’t picture him playing good and making players around him better. There are other Qb’s I could see making bad teams look better (Malhomes, J. Allen, Burrow… even L.Jackson)

They haven’t played one all around good game all season. Everyone was waiting for this so called „A" game. The entire football world was fooled into thinking this was a good team because they somehow won games. Probably the weakest 10-4 team we’ve seen. Well maybe tied with those Vikings.

2020 Steelers.
2021 Titans.
2022 Vikings.
2023 Eagles.

Fraudulent teams hidden by a good record.

Yep I mean the nature of what we’ve seen from this team all year has been that they over performed in terms of their record.

Stupid wouldn't have seen him either way because he can't read the field

thank you Dgunn. Been saying that for four weeks now.

Is it the $250M QB, the $100M WR, the all pro RT. The All Pro C. The Heisman winning WR, the highly paid TE or the highly paid LT.  Maybe the All Pro LG.

Exactly which personnel on offense is the problem, when these same guys last year were easily top 5 offensively?

The OC has to take some blame.  Sorry DGunn.

The OC right now is the easy piece to change. You can’t change too many of the players for various reasons but the OC can change. They did it with the DC and now they need to do it with the OC.

The 250m QB unfortunately hasn't had a great season. 17 turnovers is a bit much to overcome when the defense is bottom of the league. Add in the big play hunting and you add to the inconsistency.

It’s obviously both players and coaches.

Simple truth is, this team has been below average all year, and yes, LUCKY to have the record that they have.

They have not had one smooth drive, let alone full game, all season.

Every win and loss has felt like a root canal.

That’s because what we didn’t want to believe was true all along.

Only thing I will be watching the rest of the season is whether or not the locker room pulls together or goes completely nuclear.

Thing is a lot of us have been saying this. A lot of us have said we have gotten away with things be that calls or drops. This team did a great job to get out to 10 wins but the truth was it was never an elite team despite their record. And now the odd thing is going against them and they have no margin for error.
