He’s on pace to match Dak’s 2022 numbers of 23 passing tds and 15 ints. And his Qb rating is close as Dak was 91 and hurts is 90. Both had QBR of 59.9

That's ugly

have to figure he still has a claim at the MVP award this season right?

He was out of the MVP race after we got wrecked by San Fran. But some people kept saying this week "he's got the 4th best odds still"

We are stuck in a time loop. This is the same stuff that was said with Doug during the end of his tenure

I said the same thing last night but I compared it to Chip Kelly’s final season when they were using the same 4-5 (play concepts) almost the entire game.

Obviously it’s not about the "odds” ESPN/Vegas puts out.

Hurts has played at an MVP level for about 5-6 games this season.  That’s about it.  Everything around those 5-6 games has been average to slightly above average at best.

Nick is mirroring Doug's tenure and Hurts is mirroring Wentz's trajectory. It's scary.

Nick & Doug: Average first year, Super Bowl year two, regression year three

Hurts & Wentz: Average first year starting, MVP level year two, regression year three

It has a chance to unravel much quicker than end of doug. Kelce, Cox, and graham could all be done at the end of the year and gone. That’s a ton of leadership gone. Also a slight chance lane retires. So you have voids to fill there. Also the defense needs a new DC, they don’t have a Schwartz. There’s a lot of money tied into slay and bradberry and holes heading into 2024 offseason on defense. And hurts in year 3 as the starter with sirianni is on pace for nearly the same amount of turnovers as wentz was on

Him bombing the ball down the field last night is a main reason they lost.

It’s Kelly, doug and sirianni. They all had the same issue after a couple years. We said it at end of chip era. Said and tweeted about at the end of doug era. And here we are now.

Man maybe you were right, the original tecmo bowl only had what 4 plays?

Howie lived through the DeSean and Alshon deals and literally did it again with Slay and Bradberry.

Absolutely and you could argue that the talent is better on offense and that makes Johnson worse than Desai at this point. Worst thing about that is that our Head Coach is an offensive mind and letting this happen.

The over reliance on the Shove makes me question whether Sirianni is actually an offensive 'mind' or not.

5-6?

Maybe 3

No - we will proclaim his greatness and you will take it.  So you better stretch those hamstrings.

Curious who Hurts was calling out last night

I don't know if it was the illness last night but Hurts' throwing motion looked super slow.

Yeah... he looked weak. I saw that too.

Gotta lead the league in something for MVP... am I right... right?

He's not. This is his offense influenced by his bosses. Doug got fired for going against this grain.

Those who don’t learn from mistakes are doomed to repeat it.

My guess it would be nobody. He was just talking to talk because nobody has any answers, including him.

The other, less likely, option is that we're seeing the AJ and Jalen relationship unravel in real-time. AJ's comments after the game and what we've been seeing from him throughout the season could be a trend.

Clearly jake elliott as he’s not committed like the rest of the team in being bad.

Yup, the shot to Watkins was stupid, watkins wasnt open, i get tossing the ball up to give your guys a chance but since when does watkins wins 50/50 balls??? the ball was a bit underthrown and late.

The shot to AJ to end the game was stupid bad decision bad throw just ugly stuff.
