I'd pass because he's almost 30 and it feels like he's breaking down this year already. The fact he's even playable this year is almost unbelievable. But if they bring him back on vet min, fine.

I mean, we're never breaking the bank for any LB. For our price range, he's a solid piece.

You can't trust the offense because whenever we're up the playcalling goes incredibly conservative for whatever reason. The league has obviously caught up to our R(P)O game so we need to do something different but we end up just running the same vanilla plays. I think the run game is a little too finesse right now to be consistently effective. If it gets blocked up perfectly it's great but it seems like more often than not we're getting blown up in the backfield.

Need more tendency breakers. Don't need to make it easy for defenders.

When smith hits his break he throws it is likely a catch and we kick a fg. also gainwell on a dumpoff likely goes for 10-15 yards

They paid bradham after he played well here. They really should’ve paid edwards with how he’s looked this year. In reality they probably should’ve gave TJ Edwards going into last year an extension cause it would’ve been dirt cheap anyways.

Eh. I'm out. I'm tired of old guys and relying on them for anything significant, just for them to blow up in our face eventually. No one was even sniffing into him until August. Vet min for a vet/depth role, fine. But if he's the answer to LB in 2024, no thanks.

I know we aren't going to draft Trotter Jr or break the bank. And that's fine. But then get a younger cheap guy like White with upside.

I really hope we punch this guy in the face. And then have Dom take out his lame agent too.

To be fair, what do we expect him to say? He was confident in Desai last Tuesday too.

it's a much harder throw to Devonte on the out.  the decision hurts made was a much easier one for him and therefore probably thought it had a better chance.

One last thought on Monday night -- we really missed Zac Cunningham. If the price is right, I would definitely bring him back next year.

I know they should have won the game regardless and they lost it in a few ways, but Cunningham being out hurt.  Slay as well.  He's taken a lot of criticism because he's not getting INTs or pick 6's to go with his nickname, but he's actually been solid.  Bradberry is the one who has been bad.

New DC, no Slay or Cunningham, on the road where they've never beat Seattle.  Plus the rest of the secondary are undrafted guys, mid round rookies and castoffs from other teams scraps.  That last big play sucked, without it the defense played well. Yes it was their backup, but all things considered the defense improved enough to show me a little progress despite the circumstances. Now, go and do it again, improve even more.

Saw that too, but yeah...it's allowed. So, who cares?

Can’t get much easier than the dump off to Kenny G, of course he’d rather just run it himself in that case.

That was a dumpster fire of a route tree in that situation in general though. Two of the receiving options chipped off the snap so you only have three receivers that are all running 20+ yard routes. His best option was the check down really.

Sirianni saying the offence is exactly the same as last year and the year before that.

ITS HIS OFFENCE, BJ just calls the plays.

The guy is a clown

I’d sign luvu, jewell or queen. Gives you a young linebackers to pair with Dean. Draft a kid in the middle rounds and being in a veteran like they did with Cunningham. Solve one of the LB spots hope Dean, drafted kid or a veteran like Cunningham solves the other

He was asked why take a shot play to AJ when you need a FG to tie at the end of the game.

”You might get a DPI”

Not the official chalk of the NFL? Weird that chalk would be an issue, but gloves that only work in the rain don’t cross some line…

Better chance at what? Only way that play works is if aj catches it and he had two defenders on him. If he doesn’t catch it it wasted like 8-9 seconds and only play left is a shot to the end zone. Or it ends like it did. Only positive play on that is if aj comes down with it against 2 defenders. I’ll take my chances with smith 1 on 1 where he has  creates a lot of space then Aj going against a double team on a deep pass

based off what sirianni just said they wanted a PI call in situation. If that’s the case dumb when you just need 15 yards for a field goal and multiple timeouts
