I’m still scarred by the Kendricks when Wagner was sitting right there and the obvious pick pick…

Kendricks is undervalued IMO. He, along with Chris Gocong were misused here too. Kenricks was an unbelievable blitzer and a downhill player. He should have been attacking the majority of his time. Yes, Wagner has had a longer and better career, but Kendricks was a good Eagle.

Kendricks was good the SB year…outside of that incredibly inconsistent.  He was too small to be consistent at what he was ‘best’ at, and not to mention he could barely cover his own shadow.

This is why I think he was misused. He was an aggressive thumper who I think could have lived in opponents backfields had they used him that way. Instead they asked him to cover way too much.

me thinks that's a hernia for Morrow. Can probably write him off for the year.

It took the coaches years upon years to realize he couldn’t cover because he was so stiff, despite being a 4.4 guy.  Once they used him accordingly, he was pretty good.

He was too small to play SAM in the base 4-3 under…and by that point, with the evolution of the game there is no more ‘base’.

Do other teams have as much trouble figuring out how to use their players in positions best suited for them or is it strictly an Eagles thing?

LB’s…coaches will always try to fit round pegs in a square hole.  Very few LB’s can play in today’s NFL…which is my point.  This comment is worded this way for a specific reason.

I'm going back to Andy Studabaker, Chris Gocong days. It's been going on for years.

This idiot. We’re never going to play a FB at LB

Most teams can say the same unfortunately.  Smart teams find one and keep them, the rest just keep churning the position.

People still complaining about Kendricks. How long until people start bagging on Bradham too? The fact of the matter is the Eagles used to put limited resources into LB but at least they put some resources into it. They literally picked up a bunch of guys off the street late in the off-season that nobody wanted and a washed up Shaq Leonard. Put a Kendricks and Bradham into this defense and it would be a huge upgrade.

couldnt you name a white LB that woulda been good for this defense you racist?

What’s crazy, as much as Bradham gets all the credit, our SB year, our best ‘LB’ (used loosely) was the most forgetable player on that team and he played a hybrid.  Corey Graham.

I think this is why the Eagles keep drafting hybrid S’s with some size and thump.  Just never works out, crossing our fingers for Brown.

I hope so…a lot to like, he just needs to learn some discipline.  With his speed will come consistency i hope.

He can't tackle and he has no football IQ, but yeah he's a player.

Kendricks and Bradham completely change this defense. Ugh, I hate our LB.

They played complimentary.

Sadly yes, and they were just above average starting LB's.

Why can't we just play an FB at FB? Also this injury list is cursed, we actually might lose.

Sadly, I think we are in the infant stages of games being spread around streaming services.

That would suck.

Guess I shouldn't of tried to watch the flyers the last two nights.

The best LB of the past 23 years lasted one great season before tearing his ACL in a meaningless practice. We're cursed at LB.
