I don't hate the decision to go for it... but I don't understand that play call.  Why would you go to a guy that's not a primary playmaker in that spot?

The NFL should just stop the pretense... put the QB in a different color jersey, put two flags on him, and stop the nonsense.    That wasn't roughing on Dak.  That was pathetic.

I hate the overregulation of the game, so I am not going to cry for a flag.   Flags are making the NFL unwatchable at times.   So, no, I'm not going to change my stance on that when it goes against my team.   I'm not Patrick Mahomes who doesn't like when a flag goes against him in a critical spot but will constantly petition for a call in a critical spot in the game.  

 

If officials stopped getting involved in ticky tack stuff, and stuff that's away from the play, I'd be a much happier consumer.  And I'd absolutely say that any infraction on Watkins on that play would be no more than ticky tack.   Let the players decide the games.

That one and the one earlier against the Vikings today were good examples of how ridiculous it has become.
