You could see some adjustments on D ; Smith got some MLB snaps, they did a few different things but fair to say that way too many rookies and 2nd year players are out there in a year 1 system. Davis, Carter, Smith, Ricks, Jobe, Blankenship,Brown, Ringo,BVS + players who joined in the season - Roby, Byard and Leonard. It looks a mess because there is less than ideal continuity and the Vets on the DL have played way too many snaps for the week of the season. They are cooked.

And the DC has changed. They should be better, but there is some mitigation and that will lead to frustration. Hence Siri and the other coach getting chippy

The O is a different kettle of fish. There is no middle ground. It's great or it's not.

One final one. If the NFL want to delay the hiring window for coaches, then position coaches should be delayed until all teams have a HC. Gannon leaving when he did emptied the talent pool

Man I hope not

BPA in the late 20s should be a LB or S

Which this team desperately needs

Zero faith they do that regardless of who is on the board at those positions. The value in the lines vs those defensive positions is the main reason which I do understand. But there's no reason why you can't go LB and/or safety in round 2.

The two things this team really lacks. 1. good coaching on the offensive side of the ball. There is way too much talent on that side of the ball for it to feel like they’re pulling teeth just when they score 33 points. It is always like it’s Hair pulling and discombobulated just for them even when we score. And they’re not getting better as the season goes on there somehow staying status quo or getting worse. Then you have Jalen hurts just not playing consistently like he was in 2022.

On defense, they lack playmakers. You have Reddick and Jalen Carter. Other than that you have some guys who could be solid starters, but not guys who make create turnovers. Last year you had a lot of those guys. Slay could get you an interception. Maddox was out there. CJGJ gave you a bunch of interceptions. Back 7  does not have playmakers back there. Either guys are too young or they’re just not that type of player. And when your pass rush is seemingly nonexistent you’re not gonna make a play there either. So you don’t have play makers on the back 7 and then your defensive line/pass rush can’t create one either

This team is deeply, deeply flawed. And it goes beyond Johnson’s playcalling or the talent on defense. It feels more like a systemic stink that has infiltrated this team. The improbable turnovers, the brain lapses by Hurts like at the end of the half, the excruciating grinds they go through where just nothing goes their way, never closing games out, continually leaving the game in the defense’s hands at the end only to watch them roll over, etc. It has to start at the top with Nick. This entire team’s identity it just a giant calamity right now.

Purdy isn't an MVP. Sorry, you can't be MVP of the league when you aren't even the MVP of your own team.

Significantly more disappointed in the offense. Can’t execute consistently and seem very predictable. It’s almost like the offense is chasing stats and they are statistically good, but just don’t perform when they need to.

Our pass rush is so weak that’s a huge problem for this year

Nick needs to be removed from game planning and Brian needs fired. Also the QB coach needs to go.

Is that it?

If you put Purdy on Giants or Skins they win 4-5 games just sayin

Offense just calls too many pass plays. We’ve never been the team to drop back and pass 40 times and for some reason we’re trying to force Hurts to be Peyton Manning when we can rely on our OL getting downhill and using our pulls to create mismatches. Then we can open up the pass a little easier. Too many times we’re neglecting the tush push as well.

I’d love to see the route chart, on these hot plays we need more action over the middle, can’t just always throw the screen behind the LOS. I feel like maybe we’re afraid Hurts will get tipped over the middle more often. Idk. Something wrong with the flow of the offense for sure. We dominated on the ground, and just kept throwing.

The QB on the best team in the nfl with a 120 rating is winning the mvp.  It’s not even a debate IMO.

Is that it?

Sadly no

I don’t think there has never been a team with an 11-4 record that has looked this bad and out of sink.
Sure, we should all be happy about them being in the playoffs, but the entire team doesn’t instill any confidence at all.

My main frustration is with this atrocious defense. Yeah, they did somewhat ok today, but that’s not saying a lot. This D line is soooooo overrated - as a unit they are underwhelming. The offense has its own problems, but they seem fixable.

This defense is one of the worst defenses that has ever put on an Eagles uniform.

They are +26 in net points.     The Saints at 7-8 are +36.

I’d go the other way. Offense moves the ball but shoots themselves in the foot. The defense with the game on the line is hard to watch. Just brutal.

If they don’t get a RT soon they are going to lose an entire season at some point in the near future.

Hill or McCaffrey deserve it more. It's not the "best QB" award after all.

Purdy does nothing great as a QB. Solid accuracy but not elite. Mediocre arm. Mediocre decision maker. System QB. He doesn't have a skill that is above average.
