Purdy does nothing great as a QB. Solid accuracy but not elite. Mediocre arm. Mediocre decision maker. System QB. He doesn't have a skill that is above average.

lucky for them the nfc sucks..hopefully the ravens make it to the super bowl if the niners advance..

The QB on the best team in the nfl with a 120 rating is winning the mvp.  It’s not even a debate IMO.

It should be.   Its not the MVQB award.   The voters should try to think a little more nuanced than just looking for the QB on the top team.  That's lazy.

Correct.   Frustrating, infuriating and unable to put a complete game together.

This team is just too stupid situationally to do anything in the playoffs.   We got bailed out multiple times by the Giants ineptitude.  But the most frustrating play of the game was made by our QB, who intentionally cut IN BOUNDS at the 8 yard line with no timeouts and the only reason they got the FG at the end was because the Giants were dumber.

Incidentally, they were forced to use their last timeout on a play where Hurts tried to run rather than just throw the ball through the back of the end zone, forcing them to call a timeout.

Sydney Brown takes a PF on the QB sliding by giving him a forearm to the helmet.

Jalen Carter takes too long getting off the field and the Giants get another chance at a drive that should have been a punt.

Jalen Carter also jumps offsides on a 4th and 4 play.

Just so many stupid plays.  This team is not a smart team.

There are many more that can be thrown in. Mailata horrible block, coaches wasting 16 seconds before calling timeout, Sweat moving into Blankenship blitz lane, holding penalties, etc

Hill or McCaffrey deserve it more. It's not the "best QB" award after all.

I’d agree. No QB has been lights out.

It's not hard to throw in the middle to a wide open Kittle or hand the ball off to Mcaffrey. He's not a MVP.

That was a young, system QB smelling himself and getting completely over his skis. Love to see it.

No doubt.  The list is seemingly endless... which is what is so frustrating.  The list of stupid plays vastly outnumbers the smart plays.    It was nice to see Swift work to stay in bounds though...

Why can't we cannot scheme an offence like the niners. Getting the ball to their playmakers in space. Aiyuk, Deebo and Kittle are.not better than AJ, Devonta and Goedert.

Lamar > Purdy and it isn't close. Lamar just doesn't have Kittle and Mcaffrey along with Deebo.

They are +26 in net points.     The Saints at 7-8 are +36.

Exactly! And I even think the overrated Vikings who won all those close games (last year?) looked better as a whole. Just about everyone is saying the same thing, so there has to be some truth that they are "frauds” and not as good as their record says.

Wow.    Jackson with an all-time bonehead play... and tripping over the umpire is just unfortunate... they are part of the field.

2-0 Niners.

safety

it sucks tho bc the ref was in the way

that makes up for the int back to work..

So even though the ref fell on his useless ass which screwed up Jackson it's a safety? That's messed up

Refs are part of the field. Always have been.

I hope Baltimore smashes the whiners.

Just tired of hearing about them and would rather see Lamar win an MVP again.

Changes need to happen next year on both sides of the ball for sure.

That safety isnt going to help

Jackson can't run straight backwards.   That's on Jackson for making a bad situation worse.

His face falling down was hilarious 😂

Ref falls you trip on him and it’s a safety

aint no way

because the eagles did a poor job of vetting sirianni's offensive coordinating skills
