If we win out and San Fran loses tonight and another game, we are the one seed, correct?

We win out and they lose 2 - we get the 1 seed.

How can someone hate the Ravens?  Always a likeable team.

So when does Mahomes start losing commercials due to his crap play?

the dude is a joke and the players know it

if players clown on him he deserves it

He is definitely one of the most open head coaches with his personality and emotions I’ve seen. I don’t know if that bleeds over to his relationships with players or not but it’s not the typical demeanor of an NFL HC.

I think it really worked well last year, he was considered a players coach for the most part. Now? Who knows what’s going on. Sometimes you find out about relationships when things get tough. Hopefully it’s just a family spat.

Only problem is this has the feel of a FG fest game.

That’s what’s making me super nervous. That Baltimore interception made me feel a bit better.

also I was down 50ish points before the Eagles game. So to cover 50 pts & take the lead by 10 was nice

I think the Rams have a chance

On the positive side, I wanted them to switch to more of an offense where Hurts was used as a game manager. No more deep YOLO balls into double coverage or risky throws, and utilize the run game. That’s what it felt like more of today. The throw before the interception was actually his worst throw of the day, not the play where Goedert slipped. I don’t mind him sprinkling in some hero plays like the 3rd and long conversion pass. But I don’t think he’s consistent enough to keep the offense in his hands. This offense needs to be run through Swift.

I'll tell you the problem with the 2023 Eagles in a nutshell: turbulent flow and frustration.

When you have a dominant team that performs to expectations, it's smooth flow.  When you have a lousy team in an anticipated rebuilding season that loses a ton of games...that's smooth flow too.

The problem is that the Eagles are not nearly as good as last year, not nearly as good as expectations, and not nearly as good as their record suggests.  That's turbulence and frustration.  They are still better than most teams in the NFL and a good team...just a far cry from the great team that everyone expected.

That creates angst, heated debates where many say they suck (they don't) while others say to be grateful for how good they are (you shouldn't be...it's not good when this is the peak of the lifecycle of a team).  So everyone is a bit wrong in their extremes and everyone ends up pissed with this rough ride.

the good thing is if the niners lose tonight they're gonna have to play in week 18

Looking at playoff scenarios, it actually helps us more to have Dallas beat Detroit next week.

Hurts as game manager may be the best way to adjust and win games against bad teams right now, but a $250m game manager is a fait accompli for falling short of the goal.  They will never win a title with that set up combined with that financial commitment to the position.  It's simply an impossibility.

So even if it's square peg round hole right now, I understand the insistence on putting more on his shoulders and not retreating into a running ball control team with a game manager protected QB.

Purdy f'ing sucks and always has.  A tiny amount of pressure and he folds like a bum

😂😂😂😂

SF becoming unhinged

Purdy getting cooked

I wouldn’t assume that with how the eagles are playing.

"PuRdY FoR mVp.”
