We are likely being unrealistic in expecting his 2022 season to be repeatable every year.

That’s what we paid for though

Vikings with Mullens; who just lost their TE for the season

So the Cowboys are their most realistic possible loss

I’m just now seeing how much dumb crap I posted while high last night. I apologize.

I thought they were the best, most coherent thoughts you posted in awhile

I can well imagine there is tension in the Novacare 😉. Players riding coaches for not doing a good enough job, the coaches looking at players dumb mistakes thinking, we did our job, did you?

The key will be Sirianni removing some of that noise; winning will help but less injuries will too.  People talking of firing him is incredibly short sighted.  This team has to be better, but the Whiners proved last night that no one is infallible.

Credit where it is due.  There was a play last night where it was predicated on AJ Brown looking uninterested in blocking. He did that, and they threw it his way for a completion.

That was a great play.  They bought that little jog inside and he burned them.

Yeah. For all the scheme/play calling is bad, there are little snippets of goodness out there.  And it will be something they can play out for the rest of the season

Other stuff I saw and liked.

Some nice dives and improvised or designed runs outside. Swift was terrific. We just have to give the guy the damn ball FFS.

A slant to AJ (who would have ever guessed that these would work 100% of the time they are called?

Screens to RBs on the move.

Lots of throws to Goedert.

A TD pass to the middle of the field (that is the fat green part closer to the hash marks as opposed to the sidelines)

It is interesting to look at the ESPN rankings for punters.  Mann ranks 4th in Net Yards per Punt

And 9th in Gross Average Yards per punt at 49.3.

And there was variety on throws to Goedert.  For all the issues, that game was a soft rest on the O scheme. But for turnovers, the perception would be vastly differemt

Amazon announced they're essentially increasing the price of Prime by 47% in 2024. They increased the price of Prime from $120 to $140 in 2023. And they're now putting ads in all their movies and shows in 2024 and if you want to remove the ads you need to pay $3 per month extra. So basically to have the same Prime experience you have right now next year you'll need to pay $175 per year. When just last year it was $120.

Relevant for those who subscribe for football games plus other usage. I will not be renewing this is the final straw.

I'm a Prime member mainly for the shipping but I don't think I order enough stuff to make it worthwhile if it's $175. When I signed up it was $99. Geez.

Don't think so, the games already have commercials. This is for streaming movies and shows. You'll be watching a movie and they'll just interrupt it with ads. And my guess is they're going to be really annoying like Hulu to try to annoy the hell out of you and get you to pay the extra $3 per month. Hulu has a series of ads that play. Sometimes up to like 8 ads in a row that last a total of 5+ minutes total.

More ads for Ozempic and other meds for people to take!

I said it yesterday. It worked and BJ would never go back to it. They also got Covey the ball once for 7 yards and he never saw another pass. They are idiots.

Thought Sirianni had a good press conference especially the last part where he talked about the mistakes and how they go about correcting them so they don't make the same mistakes again.  Now they just need to do them.  Both of the turnovers yesterday were flukes but you can't have them.

He is right that they did do some good things yesterday that they can build on.  There are just alot of perfectionists on this team that want to play to their high standards.  That's a good thing that they aren't satisfied with their performance and want to do better.

I thought the offense played better yesterday.  There were better play calls, better execution and Hurts played better.  They need to continue to get better.  If the defense can get healthy and be halfway decent, they can do some things in the postseason.

I've tried to be balanced and optimistic, seeing the mix of good and bad things and what are the fixable things.

They have 2 games left and are still talking about the standard, needing to clean up mistakes, etc.  They simply haven't done it.  They obviously have won a lot of games and there have been good things.  But they are also clearly not putting enough work into fixing the mistakes that are their own self-inflicted wounds.

Every team has some penalties, some fluke fumbles, dropped pass here and there, stuff like that.  A batted pass that becomes an interception, a ball bounce, etc.

But when it's consistent poor play calling, situational decisions, scheme and things that should be corrected and not repeated that keep happening, that's coaching and accountability.

We could make excuses for injury and being tired and beat up after "the gauntlet" but they absolutely should have beat Seattle with a backup QB and they should dominate the Giants and Cardinals to close out the season.  Now the players are frustrated even in a win.

I think I’m seeing a markup on prime eligible stuff  - so the free shipping ain’t so free, and the guaranteed 2-day delivery is really hit or miss based on demand.

It's gotten so bad that I've seen a multitude of fans of other teams be extremely confused about our play calling/design. That's how obvious it is to everyone yet for some reason we do the same thing over and over.

Because this coaching staff thinks they're geniuses and doing nothing wrong besides turning the ball over. They'll just point to 11 wins and say they need to execute better. I hate these MFers. I truly, truly do not care if we've gone to the playoffs 3 years in a row. First year: playoff blowout. Second year: super bowl loss. Third year: on track for another playoff blowout.

They would have to go on a literal miracle run to even get to the NFCCG this year the way they've been playing. And then they'd probably get blown out there. Nothing this team has done all season indicates they can make a deep run, and it's only gotten worse the last few weeks. It's frustrating because they have the talent to do so, but they play like a 4-13 team. Penalties, turnovers, and downright boneheaded plays every Fing week.

That doesn't make much sense but ok

Thats because it's a lie. I remember him coming off the field after the penalty and seeing him talking to someone about it and then never seeing him again.

Anyone else patiently waiting for the Trent Williams update?

Rashaad Penny is gonna have 10 TD receptions over the middle on our SB run.

And stop when things work well. Running game working? Pass.
