I’m not really rooting for either team.  As much I understand we should be rooting for Dallas - I just can’t.  So that’s that.  
 

(But if they happen to win, I probably won’t be upset either)

No, if lions win out and eagles win out the lions have have a tie breaker over eagles I believe its conference title common opponents.

And while it is a long shot if the eagles win out and sf loses to either WAS or LA then they get #1 seed. 

But unfortunately this team sucks and just winning the division to make sure dallas is on the road the entire playoffs is enough for me.

No matter if it's the 2nd or 3rd seed, Eagles are not going to the SB this year. Team is inconsistent as f. Defense is hot trash and QB1 has regressed

Yeah full on doom and gloom.  Worse, doom and gloom that people are now rooting for.  Cowboys winning tonight putting the Eagles back into the #2 seed only increases the Eagles chances of making another deep playoff run.  And that would make a lot of people wrong around here and people aren't wanting that to happen.  

Teams cannot get behind the Cowboys, especially when they are at home.  You get the feeling the Lions are already toast now.   They had their big chance on that safety.

Blowout coming.

The most important things for the Eagles at this point are not Lions or Cowboys to win or lose.  It is for the team to get their mindset right and get some of the physical elements in order.  The team has talents, but the game plans, play calling, executions are off and there are personal issues to deal with.  The remaining 2 games are critical for them to work on fixing these issues.  Win the 2 games, confidence and momentum would return and entering the playoff with the right mind.  Whatever the seed maybe, our guys can play with any team and have a chance to win.

They just survived a dog fight with Tyrod Taylor at home, lost to Drew Lock the week before, have been teetering on disaster in 85% of their games this year, Hurts is a turnover machine, the defense can’t get sacks or turnovers, and I don’t really know how much Maddox fixes things. It’s not necessarily doom and gloom as much as stating facts and people have a right to be concerned while still rooting for the best.
