Yup. Also a benefit of guaranteeing them at the #5 seed is that they have to go through SF so it knocks out one of the bad matchups for us. Dallas has the H2H tiebreaker against the Rams and Seahawks so they don't have to win again.

Ok, Dallas. Whatever you say. How's Texas this time of year? Me? I want Dallas to lose and wrap up the division tomorrow and make Dallas be a five seed on a three game losing streak. One and done playoffs. I don't give a crap between 2 and 3 seed

Goal one is still going to be be accomplished regardless of the Cowboys winning tonight or not.  Goal one is to win the Super Bowl.  Eagles will have a much better chance of going far in the playoffs if they get the #2 seed or not.

I want a minimum of two guaranteed home playoff games. Getting that is more important than locking up the division one week early. And the Eagles only lock up the division if they win and Dallas loses. If you're so sure they're going to win and lock up the division then why wouldn't you be confident that they'd win both games against awful teams and lock up the 2 seed if Detroit loses tonight?
