I agree Maddox was not good but I don't think they were going to pull him for Roby even if he was active.

And color me shocked he got hurt again.

Maddox will be done again. He’s gone at the end of the year.

This.  Sit everyone.  Turn it into a bye.  This defense has been out of gas for awhile and the team has nothing to play for now.

"Out of gas” Is an awful excuse. They’re not tired their system is dumb lol

Oh you meant Dovonta Smith I thought you met my soul

At least his defense plays hard and he likes his secondary to play football rather than freeze tag.

He's not on my short list. I can understand while he will be a popular candidate but I'm just not a fan at the pro level.

That ref botch error last night and its impact has now spread to this team and altered the entire playoff scene in the NFC. Dallas going from the 5 seed to the 2 seed. Eagles going from having a home playoff game to having to be on the road throughout.

Bigger than that... handed SF the #1 seed, which likely hands the Rams a playoff spot because the 49ers won't put out top effort now.

Howie’s entire offseason was a mess besides trading to get jalen Carter. Otherwise what other move this offseason have they made that’s good? The extension to bradberry a disaster. Slay extension also wasn’t smart likelt hurts them next year. Signing morrow. Signing edmunds. Signing Evans. Signing Cunningham during training camp and having to rely on him to play every week. This is eerily similar to their downfall after winning the SB. But just in fast forward.

Yeah, it is a mess.

Our souls all died weeks ago… well at least most of us.

This is incredibly frustrating and disheartening. Despite handling hits well for his size, using him as a lead blocker on screens is recklessly foolish. Now, he's injured, which only underscores the idiocy of sacrificing one of our best players for a play that frequently falls short.

It happens almost every year. I said coming into the season they needed to find a backup plan for him when he inevitably gets hurt and they didn't. Maybe they'll do something this coming offseason, idk.

Thats a bye week for cowboys if they are smart

They still need to win, technically.   Eagles could win next week... and pass them otherwise.

Yup that about sums it up. He says it without saying it.

This defense just was atrocious.

No fight.

Abused by blockers and receivers.

There is no easy fix.

Rip the bandaid off.

Drug Howie during the draft.

Get a LB and S worth a sheet.

3 playoff appearances in 3 years. Any new HC has a ton of pressure immediately.

Pressure comes with any new job, regardless of profession, career field, etc...

I look at it the other way around, I'm sure there's a smart, qualified HC out there that would be willing to take the risk to work with the talent on offense

What does he bring though? Is it game planning? Creativity? Play calling?

Could win but won’t. It’s time for the Giants to finally win one.

Can we chalk it up to the best Super Bowl hangover ever?

Don't know how you don't fire everyone but Sirianni, Stoutland, and Clay. Maybe Singleton and the TE coach, but idk. Everyone else, just launch them into the sun.

Why does Siri escape? He’s in charge ffs

Did well with SF when he was last in before the drama. He’s not my favorite person but he definitely gives his team an identity. Which is a humongous step in the right direction when you can hang your hat on identity and a collective mindset. 2023 Eagles are the first team in NFL history where every player at every position not only underperformed but played in a system where it was completely reliant on individuals playing as individuals with no team effort or scheme to help each other.

Silver lining: they can be among the first to interview new coordinators.

Clearly we’re just doing walkthroughs all week. No shot we’ve even put pads on.

Yup, definitely showing its warts now. We brought in new front office personnel, I wonder how much of a say they had in this bad off season. That's a very important question that needs an answer.
