Living in Arizona, the losses these Philly teams have to teams in this town are just soul-crushing. The Eagles in the NFC title game 15 years ago, the Phillies back in October, Eagles today. The Coyotes will probably beat the Flyers in the Cup this year in heart-ripping fashion.

Lurie knows how to hire coaches. He also knows when to let them go. If he chooses to fire Sirianni, I won't be upset. I think he's earned one more year, but I'd get it otherwise.

Unlike the last time we had a coaching search, we're in good shape both QB wise and cap/pick wise.

The staff has lost the roster lol. It’s not just Brown. We as fans can see the incompetence I can’t imagine what they’re hearing and doing during the week lol.

I agree... but we can't be certain of all of them.  Brown we can.

So they don’t tackle in practise either

1. The solution to escaping this tail spin, if there is one, isn’t just to keep after it and work through it by playing hard next week.  They’ve had 16 games for that and they keep getting worse with each week.

2. What’s the real chance the Commanders beat Dallas next week?  8%?  5%?

Do we want to wear down a gassed and spent team and risk further injury for a 5% chance of a home game?

Hit reset and pray they show up a different team on the road in the wild card.

Did well with SF when he was last in before the drama. He’s not my favorite person but he definitely gives his team an identity. Which is a humongous step in the right direction when you can hang your hat on identity and a collective mindset. 2023 Eagles are the first team in NFL history where every player at every position not only underperformed but played in a system where it was completely reliant on individuals playing as individuals with no team effort or scheme to help each other.

He will command full say on everything, is Jeff giving him all that? Sincerely doubtful if I had to bet.

Washington now has the #2 pick overall. That's as high as they can go and I think they'll stay there. I don't see that team beating Dallas, even if it's technically a road game that stadium will be packed with Cowboys fans.

Gotta sit let players next week for sure. AJ, Jalen, Goedert, 4/5 OL, Reddick, Slay, Sweat, Carter and Davis should sit.

Yup. Super irritating as their fan base is pathetic and sucks

You don’t just all of a sudden get it and start clicking 17 weeks in. This team is what they were week 1. A very flawed team. 10 -1 hid it all. Now they are getting exposed by good teams and some of the worst teams in the league.

We’re on the cusp of a significant amount of vets leaving, good young core, wrists the worst that can happen? Hurts is 10x better than Kaepernick was at every talent. AJ and Smitty will be here for another 3-4 years.

None will sit, several will get hurt, and they’ll lose next week and the following.

Let's be honest, he's pretty washed at this point in his career. He's not exactly out there playing like an elite corner.

He has 2 functioning arms at least.  Maddox could barely use one of his the entire game.

Washington has zero chance.

I hate this team

Wow.  Read in between the lines.  Basically saying players aren’t practicing hard.  And whose fault is that?  That goes right back to coaching.   This coaching staff is on the way out.  Little doubt in my mind.

Keep in mind this is a ROOKIE saying this.    WOW.  Just wow.

Hurts wasn't the problem today.

Nor does he inspire confidence going forward.

I knew they would never do it with the one seed statistically still in play before today, but I thought a week 18 bye, resting guys, and not taking any chances on that garbage MetLife field was always more valuable than splitting hairs with the two or three seed. Part of the reason why I wanted a Dallas loss last night was for that reason. I don’t know if it solves anything, but I’m all for guys sitting out next week. They won’t do it though because statistically Dallas could ish the bed next week and give them the division back.

I agree Maddox was not good but I don't think they were going to pull him for Roby even if he was active.

And color me shocked he got hurt again.

Maddox shouldn’t have been active though.  He literally couldn’t use one of his arms the entire game.

You guys don't have to take the cheese on every little thing the media posts now. They're trying to draw anything they can from the playoffs. Haven't you guys plated this game before?

Hurts is going to be a plus, not a negative, in a coaching search.

I hear that. I don't think it would have mattered though.

Since they didn’t have a turnover until the end of the game they’ll turn it over at least 3 times next week.
