Our D-Line is worn down.  That's why they can't rush the passer and also can't stop the run anymore.

Sweat already reached a career high in snaps before this week, Cox is a 12 year vet playing way more than he should but because they need him to, and Carter and Davis never played this much at Georgia. This is a problem that started at the Buffalo game when they played 92 snaps. The whole defensive unit has never really recovered since that game. They’re beat down and the wheels have completely fallen off.

It’s why I’d rather them just rest the starters next week.

Did anyone in here honestly think we'd get back to the SB and win it?

We all know the SB loser doesn't get back to the big game, let alone win it.  It just doesn't happen.

We basically had a SB hangover but won 11 games somehow.

Sucks because it’s kind of the year to do it, too. Lots of QB injuries, lots of bad teams, lots of inconsistency across the league.

Find it hilarious that for the past month you kept talking about how there was light at the end of the tunnel. We were a 10 win team, we will get it back.

Now you finally came down to reality and it's funny to read

It was easy to see, the Commanders game when Riverboat Ron didn't go for 2, Elliots what 59 yarder against Buffalo, dropped passes by KC, etc, but the F'ing 49'ers finished them off, they  physically, beat the sheet out of the Eagles, today was more of the same by a 3 win team with perhaps the worst roster in the NFL.

If you go by Bill Parcels your record is what you are, this is an historic collapse, and really will be if they lose in the 1st round.

Yeah I get our secondary issues and all but what I’m having a difficult time with is the sudden collapse of our run defense.   Makes no sense.

Cunningham has missed 4 of the last 5 games. That doesn’t help. He’s about the only competent linebacker against the run. against Dallas and buffalo’s RBs when he was out there ( their backs ran for 92 yards for 3.0 yards per carry and 122 on 29 carries which is 4.2 yards per carry). The second is worse as i don’t think he was healthy and he was trying to gut it out. Probably should’ve been held out of the niners, cowboys and Seahawks game.

other issue is Davis looks gassed. Never see him doing much anymore. They also don’t have guys setting edges. Sweat routinely just flies up. Love josh sweat but dude has been awful since October.

No, but not bc of the "SB loser hang over." It became evident that this team just isn't good and the way they were winning was not sustainable in playoffs.

Exactly...  I feel Lt. Dan's pain.

Other than the Ravens, agreed.  That team is scary right now.

Yeah this.  Ravens are about to smoke everyone.  Barring injury the chip is theirs.

Yea, for now. We’ll see. It’s like almost every team in the league has gotten hot just to eventually fall off.

This will be a year without excuses for Lamar Jackson if he gets shut down in the playoffs again

If I'm Lurie and I see Desai lose his job only to watch that slop today, he should be furious. That alone is worthy of getting Sirianni fired. That's such a bad look. It reeks of a man who is totally clueless, desperate, and out of answers. How could you be confident in someone like that?

I’m probably done posting here regularly for a while. But I gotta say this before heading out.

THAT is why it was moronic to root for the Cowboys last night.

We're not winning the Super Bowl, that's painfully obvious. So I have almost no interest in who goes (as long as it isn't Dallass, of course). If I had to pick a team to want to get there and win, I'll say the Lions. But it'll probably be a 49ers - Ravens rematch.

Lions bills or bengals

I doubt they do it but Cleveland Browns have some solid SB odds right now.

FanDuel has them +4400

It has been an extremely weird season all around.

A former Super Bowl MVP QB leading the way!

Apparently people are starting Forrest Gump at a certain time so that they can celebrate with Lieutenant Dan exactly at midnight.

How do we know Siri was the one who demoted Desai?  I'd guess it was Lurie or Howie who gave the edict.

At this point I wish Desai was still in charge since at least they would tighten up on D in the 2nd half, instead of just collapsing against bad teams as they're doing now.

I would absolutely love to see a Browns-Lions Super Bowl!

Sure, if your goal was the NFC East.  Most of us held out for a SB and that meant getting the #2 seed minimum.

Where are you getting that data about needing a #2 seed to win the Super Bowl?

Pretty sure you're just wrong about that.

I'm saying before the season started did you think we could get back to the SB?

Most knew 6 or 7 games in we had some issues.

Yup. Last year's team would dominate this season with the inconsistencies in the NFC, and the QB injuries in the AFC, and KC taking several steps back.

Siri said it was his decision.  Take it or leave it.

"I made the decision," Sirianni told reporters after the game, via a team transcript. "I did what i thought I needed to do in the best interest of the football team. I didn't feel like we were playing well enough or coaching well enough on defense, so I made an adjustment. It was my decision and that's what I did."
