If Macdonald gets a HC Job, Harbaugh will slide in Minter as the next DC and would think he takes the Ravens job over us unfortunately.

I'm more worried if Jim Harbaugh comes back to the NFL, does Minter get the HC job at Michigan?

Assuming Howie and Lurie force Nick to make changes, I'd like to see somewhat of a radical departure in scheme on both sides.

Offensive coordinator -- I'm sure I'll be killed for this, but I'd see if Kellen Moore comes available. His offenses in Dallas were top notch, and there are similarities between Jalen and Dak. I'd pass on Bienemy -- haven't seen much away from Andy. Another very young name would be Tee Martin, QB coach of the Ravens. I can't see Reich taking the job either.

Defensive coordinator -- Jesse Minter is top of the list. If Eberflus is fired in Chcago, maybe he makes some sense.

Kellen Moore's big problem in San Diego has been the running game.  I don't think that's an issue with Stoutland.  Minter would be a good pick.  I also wonder if they look at Cory Undlin who is working with the Texans.

I think eberflus will be staying. Bears are trending up at the moment

I think if they decide to dump Fields and take Caleb, they likely fire Eberflus and bring in an offensive coach.

Hell, give Dennard Wilson another look.

I would hope they offer Kalen Deboer, Washington coach, first then Sherrone Moore the OC

Minter is the one coach that follows Harbaugh to the NFL in my opinion

This is an embarrassing, disgraceful answer

I'm not sure how much credibility Brian Baldinger has, or how much stock to put into this, but on his podcast with Anthony Gargano he said he's heard Jordan Davis has been getting fined weekly for being overweight.

He is pretty hyperbolic at times but he doesn't just make stuff up. He also works out at Lane Johnsons barn all the time so it wouldn't surprise me if he's heard some things that go on in the building.

I'm surprised anybody here still think that Bill Bellichick could get results from this bunch.  The back 7 is awful, simple as that, the Slay injury was last straw.

They have a coaching problem as well. Because I don’t think Desai or Patricia are very good. But I have said for while they have a personnel problem in their back seven. Their linebackers might be the worst in the league. Go look around the NFL and tell me a team that has worst linebackers in the Eagles. The Cardinals might be the only team that that is true. And yet they were just able to get stops with their linebackers. They literally have street free agents as their linebackers. Guys nobody really wanted. And Dean got hurt and frankly was only slightly better than morrow. And trying to win games like that.

And then I go look at safety, Blankenship is solid. He’s probably more like Marcus Epps that if you have a CJGJ he’s probably gonna look a lot better. But byard looked slow and not very good with the Titans. Vrabel who’s actually a good defensive coach couldn’t get him playing like he did in 2021 and 2022. Yet we believe with inferior coaching we were going to? Then you have bradberry regressing which is the story of his career. Go look his career has been good one year and major regression the next. It’s why Carolina let him walk and the giants released him. Then finally slay being 32 and asking him to play 17 games got them. Sheil talked about this all offseason with corners 31 and older.

That was the Eagles defense worst game in terms of success rate since 2006, against the Colts apparently.  Manning and Harrison?   This game, Murray and Gaylord Dortsch, trash

Wasn’t Patricia helping out on the offense side of the ball in NE, he’s awful btw, if you have to take someone from there give Mayo a shot, Howie and Jeff allegedly liked him a few years ago when he interviewed here, make him the DC.

If not they have to get a Flores type that isn’t tied to one scheme and will do the best he can with no talent at LB since Howie refuses to put talent at that position.

He was the defensive coordinator in NE for years before he **** the bed as the HC in Detroit. Mayo is allegedly in line for the HC job in NE.

Fields has been playing well lately I doubt they dump him.  Probably will take Marvin Harrison Jr if he declares for the draft

He already did but do you take him one when other teams really want a QB and can acquire more assets.

Running out the clock with 4+ minutes left and 20 yards to go for a 1st down?  lol

All you can do is laugh about it at this point.  I’m starting to question whether this is even real anymore.

The last thing I want is a guy in his 70s coming here starting over.

Fields will be looking for an extension this year. I wouldn't want to commit big money to him. I'd trade him for a 1st or 2nd, and get Caleb Williams cost controlled.

I kind of put Patricia and Josh McDaniels in the same boat. Josh McDaniels always looked better than he should’ve, because Tom Brady was there to save his ass. Most offensive coordinators are gonna look real good with Tom Brady in his prime at quarterback. Tom Brady is one of the best to ever do it. i said it when we interviewed him and when the raiders hired him, Tom Brady got him two HC jobs and he’s going to prove why at each stop he didn’t deserve it and but should be thanking Tom Brady all the way to the bank.

feel like this applies to Patricia as well. He had belichick side by side with him as DC for the patriots. Belichick is a defensive mastermind so how much of it was actually Patricia. I think it showed as each year the lions got worse on defense and here he had no answers for drew lock and the cardinals down their best wr in Hollywood brown and part of the game without their LT

What's his track record at trying to do that?  I'd say at least below average, all the way up to atrocious.

I mean his track record overall isn't really that great on either side of the ball

Yeah, but who is that guy that is coming in here? Saleh isn't getting fired. Brandon Staley sucks. Ron Rivera is washed up. Bowles is about to make the playoffs.

If we lose Minter after a couple years, so be it. But OCs are more likely to jump ship than DCs.

That is true..As long as its not a Belicheck disciple 🙂

While I’ve soured on Sirianni, I’m definitely grateful they didn’t hire McDaniels. Had no interest at all in seeing if he could grow from his failed Denver stint.

Followup from yesterday.

Chicago has 7 wins.  Eberflus should be a COTY candidate.

Is this answer better then against Seattle where they threw a deep ball to get a PI call. Lol. This is a clownshow whichever way you look at it.
