"Hey, big Dawg. I look like a real schmuck for drafting you over Hamilton. Any chance you could get in better shape and develop a pass rush move?”

I'm still a Davis fan, but Hamilton is looking awfully good in Baltimore. So is Porter in Pitt and Branch in Detroit.

I remember the blog in the summer of 2022 mocking the bust that Hamilton was sounding like in reports from training camp how he was getting burned constantly and looking awful in preseason as a rookie.

Now suddenly everyone wishes we drafted Hamilton.

The hate and people bailing on Jordan Davis is undeserved. He's only 23 years old (turning 24 in a week).  Not uncommon at all for DTs to take 3 years to really get going plus say what you will about him his rookie year but he has flashed with an impact numerous times this season.  Big guy is worn down like the rest of the defense at this point in the year.  Hamilton might be playing great right now but Jordan Davis was a good pick for the Eagles and he will only continue to improve and hopefully be a cornerstone player for us for a long time.

It's hard to say. It seems like the coaching on the back 7 + the scheme is abysmal + so I can't say that any of them would be a vast improvement (in our current situation). It'd definitely be better what than what we have now but it's such a dumpster fire that who knows.

It would be better for the future

"Such a little toot for such a big guy. Haha. I’m just kidding, bro. But seriously, I’m going to need you to step it the F up a bit, capisce? Thanks, bud.”

If only we had a Mills or Epps, whoever they are

Wtf man the Knicks cant miss from 3

I remember when this was "BG looks ok but earl thomas is a stud.”  The boy and the zen master- we’ll see.

I also whether we rotate too much. These kids should be able to play more than 30 snaps in a game and I don’t know that they really get into the flow in that time.

that graph doesnt mean all that much to me. Some safeties arent meant to play man coverage. We know that. And we know Blankenship isnt a man cover safety.

I do wish they signed Mills this offseason. Woulda made too much sense.

Happy to see Smith is sitting out. Can't say I've ever been happy to have a player miss a game but it would have just been plain silly to have him go out on that turf even if he said he can go.

Ok then let's just use the 2nd half to describe the game 🙂

29-10 🤪

yeah,  but that was after the Eagles crushed the Cards in the first half.

The defense sucked in the 2nd half,  giving up 4 TDs on 4 possessions.

Stop with the cliche. This team is bad and has bad coaching. They aren't overcoming that 4 playoff games in a row.

No,  the cliche Any Given Sunday is such a cliche because it's true.

the Eagles can turn on the innovations and crush it in the playoffs.   I don't know if they will turn on the innovations,  but I know that they're there.

I think they've been playing rope a dope.  Not trying their hardest. Not revealing everything.   Playing Vanilla intentionally.

I could be wrong. But I could be right.

The Eagles have the leading punt returner,  and he's rarely on the field on offense.  You'd think they know all about that, and are ready to get him the ball.  So,  more snaps, carries, catches for Covey.  That's not at all unorthodox.  It's something they should have done last year,  and we aren't even seeing it yet.  You would think they we would see this in the playoffs and we should see it against the Giants.

Using Michigan Wolverines Fullback Ben VanSumeren as a Fullback is apparently too much for some people,  but I'm in favor of it.  If you watch him, it's pretty clear that he has a lot of energy at this point, isn't overtired, hurt or fatigued.  I've been arguing in favor of him based on measurables, but we've been seeing him for parts of 2 games and he looks very big, strong and fast.  He physically definitely looks up to the challenge of playing Fullback.

Well, they doped their way out of a division title and will have to win three games on the road to make the Super Bowl again. Seems like a hell of a strategy.

That picture of the Lions banner had me think of something random today and I'm curious if this is something an NFL organization could do or if it violates some type of an NFL rule or policy.

Two teams play in the Super Bowl and one team "loses" on the most egregious call in NFL history. Something beyond comprehension. Like a field goal is clearly good, but the refs declare it no good or something. Or a receiver is wide open in the end zone and at the last second a CB runs over and tackles him with the ball in the air to prevent the easy TD and no call. Or a player clearly stays in bounds and score the game winning TD by a foot, but refs call him out of bounds for some reason.

Would there be any rule or policy preventing the owner out of his own pocket saying F this, we got robbed, and getting his own Lombardi Trophy made and displaying it and getting a Super Bowl champion banner made and hanging it in the rafters and declaring their team Super Bowl champions and refer to his team in all interviews and press conferences as Super Bowl champions?

This game for the Cowboys against the Redskins is exactly the type of game that Romo would lose.  Dak saves his Romo moments for the playoffs unfortunately.  But I do have hope that River Boat Ron gives his payback to the Eagles for Doug benching rookie Hurts in week 17 2020 and giving the Redskins the division.

I think Washington upsets the Cowboys who come in expecting to be crowned in some cold **** January weather against an opponent they aren't taking seriously.  I think Eagles get the #2 seed back and go onto win the Fing Super Bowl.

It'd be kind of childish but I don't see how the league could stop it. Though I'm sure they could think of something or make something up to penalize the team/owner

Hamilton in our scheme would be a bust.

It happened last year with black side judge flagged Bradbury. If you slow the video down when You see Andy say something to the ref on the sidelines and he smiles back to fat ass. It’s there. You can see it. Paid off.

Eagles are going to have to end up playing in rain in that New Jersey stadium for the second time this season and the 8th or 9th time out of all their games this year.  Unreal.

Going to West Virginia this year.
