I don't mean him specfically but a back like him

So they can waste his talent away on the bench?

They could have Barry sanders, Walter Payton and Jim Brown on the same team and still be a pass first team and waste away the rushing Talent

And we still see the same wide receiver bubble screens and say it's an extension of our Run game

You want the Eagles to look even more dysfunctional?

I was about to post the same thing. lol

Hasn't been one since though. I tend to agree, lurie is obsessed with having a high flying offense. I dont think he'd bring in a defensive head coach in any future hiring scenarios

Gus Bradley was about to be hired... until Chip Kelly did an about face.

I agree he wants a high flying offense... but to completely ignore half the coaching options would be highly negligent.  That doesn't mean it can't be true, but I have a hard time believing it.

Absolutely hate when we come back from commercials and missed the refs call only for the commentators to talk with one of the other analyst to go over the call

Bijan Robinson just went 71 yards for a TD.

Controversial call in the Lions game

Jets just got a FG. I won't be surprised if this game ends 3-0

If Detroit and Dallas both win are Dallas the #2 seed?

Also people overreact to small sample sizes of other players.

A LB makes a few plays on another team and its "oh see there's LBs playing well on other teams.  Why can't the Eagles have that."  Then a couple weeks later that same guy sucks.

Barnett is playing better now with Houston.   My guess is it won't last and he'll be back to being bad again.  But somehow we made a mistake letting him go after he did basically nothing for 6-7 years.

I never like to crown any player or coach after such a short sample size.

CJ Stroud had a very good rookie year and now the Texans are set?  Well no, not necessarily.  He could come back down next year and regress.  We've seen it countless times.

Stroud has clearly shown alot of talent. Enough that the Texans should absolutely plan long term around him

They already said it the only way the Lions could get the number two seed is if both the Cowboys and Eagles lose

Bucs are awful. That little hit streak they had is long gone

Damn!

Baker Mayfield just got sacked on 3rd down and he limped off of the field. The Panthers certainly aren't rolling over today.

I cant believe theyll be the team to knock us out. Im almost thinking we are actually going to win that game.

That's fine.  However 1 year playing well doesn't guarantee anything.   We know first hand with Wentz.

I'm just saying we shouldn't be crowning people off of so little body of work.   No guarantee he's the real deal.

Guarantees are fiction, so you are comparing to an impossible criteria.

Saints have the better chance since they're actually 8-8 in Falcons are only 7-9

That thought never crossed my mind. Honestly the guy has sat around all year, kept his mouth shut, and came to work just like everyone else. I would just love to see someone that has worked their butt off get rewarded and have some success in a big way. At a minimum just let him play, maybe there are lots of reasons he hasn’t played, but in a game that likely has small impact to the postseason and your starter is out, feed him.

so then the aints are in the mix..

3rd and 30 conversion 😂
