I haven't watched a lot of them this year, but watching them... Desmond Ridder is terrible.  Completely incompetent.  At the goal line, they have the perfect play called on 4th down, and he misses the throw so awfully that he nearly got it picked off.   A pass further to the pylon, its an easy walkin TD, instead he throws it way behind the WR and its nearly picked off (and might have ended as a pick 6, had the DB caught it).   How much of this is really on him versus being stuck with Ridder.

And I know that they haven't been using Robinson much... but maybe that's smart.  He's got a limited shelf life, why use it up when your QB is Desmond Ridder?

They also have no clue how to use pitts. Jonnu smith has nearly the same amount of targets and receptions. Also Drake London has one good week then they eventually stop targeting him for 3-4. Ridder isn’t very good but the problem was Taylor Heinicke was in there and they ran into the same problems. I don’t think Tyler Heinicke is not anything great but he showed he could be a competent with Washington and move the ball. And they had the same issues. This is their game plans don’t make sense.

Ridder is an issue. But this is more of they are clueless on using their personnel. And they’ve had weird decisions all season. I’m betting smith keeps his job but they are essentially wasting top 10 picks in pitts and London. And he uses allgeier way too much. He has a 3.7 yards per carry to Robinson’s 4.7 on only 23 less carries. There’s been games where they just don’t use robinson at all to showcase allgeier.

I’d also point out they would’ve known that ridder wasn’t any good if they didn’t Fing around with Marcus Mariota for like 75% of the season last year. The new Marcus Mariota wasn’t good, they knew he wasn’t their future and they had no clue what Ridder. They should’ve started Ridder half way through the season so they’d have enough tape and performance to make a decision on what they should do at Qb. Instead smith didn’t make that decision til 4 games left in the year which was never going to be enough time to see if he improved week to week over the long haul or not.

X is great reading if you dislike Arthur Smith. He's getting roasted on there

Buffalo and Pittsburgh in the playoffs now.

jax is done could not convert on 4th and 2

Yeah, Doug is toast

Just needed 2 yards and three straight passes 😆

The Jaguars are the only team who have had as epic a downfall as we have this season.

Jordan Davis starting over Carter is dumb I don’t care how much they rotate. Start your best players.

Dougs not getting fired.

why the bombs on 3rd and 2 then 4th and 2

Jaguars started 8-3 and missed the playoffs

Ugh, Steelers are in the playoffs

At the end of the day, 2 straight 9 win seasons is the best since Coughlin. This won’t be looked at as a down season by anyone in the offseason

afc is set now

Wouldn’t play and risk Cunningham in this game. Need him for next week more than anything. He’s the only competent linebacker they have and that turf blows

F Doug and that loser Trevor Lawrence. Now I have to hear about the trash Steelers in the playoffs

edit: I live in Pittsburgh and their fan base is a bunch of unbearable losers, they will truly believe they can win the Super Bowl now.

Certainly not for a clown show organization like the Jaguars
