This isn't the NHL, NBA or MLB.   Teams don't really do that sort of thing, and teams value their high draft picks much more than that.   Maybe they get a little something for the rental, but not much.

I wasn’t expecting all that much. But it’s still better than how it played out. Not going to have those two guys next year. And they weren’t going anywhere at the deadline. much rather have whatever draft picks the 2 aging veterans who aren’t gonna be with the team next year and they were winning anything anyways. And gives those two players a chance to actually win something. 

there were rumors teams were willing to trade compensation for DeAndre Hopkins.
keeping him made no sense considering vrabel is likely gone and you want to be tanking for better picks and getting as many picks as possible.

The clip is short but the other announcer then said a very different point of view that it's football and there's nothing wrong with it.  It was an interesting sudden tension in the booth in the closing seconds of the broadcast.

Listening to both sheil’s film review and phly’s show on Friday, Patricia is an idiot. Pretty detailed on both how teams are schematically adjusting to his 5 man front he continuously keeps going too and basically it’s forcing reddick to drop more into coverage.
